Thank you all for your suggestions I really did use them I’m now a pro when it comes to anything related to the belt drive system on a 4.6 liter v8 ford
I spent so much time trying to figure this out and went through everything that had a bearing in the belt drive.
If you understood that the sound wasn’t happening at idle you would also understand that when I did those steps everything was normal. It wasn’t until it progressed and got worse that I could pin point it because at that point it was happening at idle. You let me know when you find out how to stick a mechanics stethoscope on the belt drive while driving the car (since the sound wouldn’t happen at idle or on jack stands). So yeah it did take me that long and yeah I did try everything that everyone suggested.??? You should have spent 10 minutes figuring out that wasn't the issue if you listen to how people are telling you the initial steps of diagnosing the issue.
