You got the 2010 underbelly from Rockauto? I calculated the costs with tascaparts and it was too expensive.
Thanks for the info!
My mistake. I am talking about the plastic part under the front bumper that deflects air into the radiator. I am not sure if an extension to that under the motor would really help with Mustangs. Front ends are not very aerodynamic. Perhaps a chin spoiler would be a better investment.

I closed up the areas under the turn signals on mine. I feel it made a difference in reducing hood shake at 100+ mph speeds. I had this car up to 150 before I added those home made shields and I cant say I felt any front end float. Even without the deflector under the radiator. But those 2 aero mods drastically reduce hood shake vs no front under belly.

I think there are several parts avaliable depending on the model year. For my 2007 I found a underbelly with a metal frame connected to it, because its missing on my car.

In general, can I use ABS sheets to build it my own? I've seen that ABS sheets have a temperature range up to 90C /194F. No Idea of the temperature under the engine.

Yes, I was looking for a nice piece of ABS I can cut up to make the front bumper section all flat.
Shouldn't be hard only thing is finding the damn sheet.

Your local plastic shop should be able to help. My local industrial plastic store can order anything in..and quick like.

Thanks!
I found a vendor of car approved ABS sheets, 4 mm thickness, hope its stable enough.

@golkhl Is it the Shelby spoiler? Looks good, everything. A supercharger in Germany is 15000+ $, crazy.

Mine looks like this:
DSC01829.JPG

The 2010 louvred underbelly carries part no. AR3Z-6C038A, and the original 2005-2009 lower air deflector carries part no. 5R3Z-17626-BA. I made my own side extensions to cover the pockets ahead of the front wheels and attached them to the factory air deflector with self-tapping screws. The drilled holes allow you to clip the edges to the bumper cover.

How much time is anyone spending at 100+ mph to have this be an issue that really matters? How many have crashed as a result of some lift at high speeds? This seems like a lot of effort to solve a "problem" that isn't that significant.

If you like your car lifting at high speeds more power to you. I even experience it over 70mph

When I had my '05 it had a CDC chin spoiler...like below. I never experienced lift at any speed. Was over 100 lots of times at the drag strip and few times "in the wild".

600 + miles per year. :) 350 miles at a WGI event alone.
At WGI, 150 mph on the backstretch is easy if you get T1 right and get a good run up the esses.
Summit I was hitting 130. Similiar speeds at NJMP.

OP's car is a '08 GT/CS. My car was an '05 GT. Aerodynamics are pretty damn close. I mean the bumper cover was a little different but that's pretty much it.
