I've ordered a slew of stuff lately.

Blue hash marks
Clutch kit
Flywheel
California special wing
Ebrake handle

Do you all ever buy off eBay/Amazon?

I just bought a few parts for my 02 gt from lmr a few weeks ago. I try to avoid american muscle if I can honestly, I’ve had bad luck with their lack of customer service. And their prices aren’t the best.

I use ebay a lot but not for new car parts as their prices aren’t much better than any other mustang site.

I know this is off topic but how hard of a job is it?

I sometimes use American Muscle to find the part I need, then I search google for the part number and buy it somewhere else cheaper....

RIP - You will be missed
Last few things I bought for my '08 - axle parts and an installation kit - came from one or the other of those vendors (not sure what stuff came from which any more).

Not comfortable enough with either ebay or amazon.

I use Summit, & Amazon most of the time. Sometimes Ebay.
AM sucks. Ive ordered from LMR a few times without issues.

My opinion of LMR couldn't be any higher right now. They have always had great customer service, but this last deal blows me away. I ordered quite a bit of stuff from them over the holidays. A box of turbo piping apparently suffered the wrath of an overworked UPS driver, arriving with two large holes in it. Pipes were literally falling out. I contacted LMR customer service. They would not leave it alone until it was all completely dealt with. If they have what I need, they are getting my business. If they don't have what I need, I order from Summit, who also has excellent customer service. I stay away from American Muscle.

Interesting feed back. Fortunately, I have not had to use customer service at all with AM yet. I bought my last suspension parts from AM and CJ Pony Parts. CJ Pony Parts was lack luster on order confirmation and managing expectations regarding back ordered parts. Bad enough I won't be ordering from them again. I got koni yellows, whiteline adj panhard bar, and brace from them and it was like I was never going to get it from them. Parts were falling out of every box they came in. I had to figure if I had everything completely on my own. Totally unhappy.

As for AM, I at least get all my stuff, in once piece, and I know what to expect because they manage my expectations.

I usually use LMR or eBay or Amazon. Last time I had to use American muscle customer service it was awful.

LMR’s customer service is awesome. I’ve ordered lots from them. Ordered a set of 4:11 gears from them and for some reason Yukon had mixed some parts up well LMR paid for me to overnight the parts from a different company.

I bought the McCleod braided clutch line from AM around Black Friday because they had the best price on it of anybody plus I have a discount code for them from allfordmustangs that surprisingly still works. But honestly that was probably the first time I've ordered from them in at least 4 years. Last thing I bought there was the Raxiom Vector taillights so whenever they came out. Usually find the best deals on ebay, but I haven't bought a whole lot of speed parts in the last couple years anyway.

I'm tending to shy more away from American muscle.

Just keep shying. AM really sucks. The last thing I got from AM were some lightbulbs. I figured they screw that up too badly. LMR are good guys. Since I live in Texas, there's that sales tax thing though. On the other hand, I can drive there if I need to.

Always had great buying experience with American Muscle and CJ Pony Parts. Always thought AM's web site and catalogs to be superior to the competitors. Some of CJ Pony Parts pricing has been better and almost next day delivery to my house in western NY.AM greatly concerns me now however and gives me pause in deciding if I want to place an order. Last November, just before cold weather & winter storage set in, I placed an order that resulted in a back-order said to be multiple weeks out. Since I wanted the part (performance air filter) to try out before storage, I cancelled the order before it would ship, told by C/S rep. that refund would follow in a few days. Weeks went by & credit card bill comes with AM's charge but no refund. Took issue with it thru AM; no reply. Luckily I had email proof of cancellation before shipping & AM acknowledgement to refund payment. Took issue to PayPal & within a week money was back in my account.
Never, ever have had a similar issue with any other specialty vendor or Amazon, for that matter. Like Amazon's auto outlet and open box parts prices and they stand behind their products, in my experience. Have had returns, at Amazon's cost, for Magnaflow axle-backs, Jeep nerf bar steps and Jeep cargo cover. Especially the freight on the axle-backs return impressed me.

I hope that my 2 cents worth helps.

I bought an optima battery from them and they will not honor optimas warranty. I've used the correct agm charger and thier stupid charging ways. Still won't replace my dead optima red top.

Ever since AM was bought out it seems like their customer service dropped. I don't shop with them anymore. I get some stuff through LMR and the rest through Amazon.
