Get the valve stem type. The band style are ancient history, no longer used from 2010+. AM sells valve stem types for the older stangs. My 2010 came with valve stem types. Simple + robust, easy mounting assy. Beware, get the tpms sensors for your year car. The 05-09 cars used one freq. The 10-14 cars used another freq..and the 15+ cars used a 3rd freq. They are not compatible.

Just get new bands and reuse your old sensors and cradles.

I tried these TPMS sensors and while they are a major brand they are not rebuildable with common sourced parts (Discount Tire), they also wouldn't seal in my Racestar wheels so I ultimately went with the valve stem sensors available from Discount Tire. This was just my experience, I'm sure others have had better luck.

Don't know yet, transmits on 315mhz an "all ok" signal every now and then when the car is running. I am not finished researching - need a bank of "plausible" ID numbers that the computer can recognize, I'm hoping I can just make something up. Then you sit in driver's seat, push a button on device, car honks, push the button a few more times as it's hooting and beeping and you're simulating the different sensors using one device. Supply with acc. power, stuff under dash...

!!FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY!! Not for highway use.

What did Discount Tire charge you for the TPMS sensors? I just bought new wheels and was planning on getting tires from Discount Tire.
