2012 GT500 Performance wheels on my 06 GT?

Hey guys, I stumbled across a set of staggered (19”/20”) GT500 wheels in perfect shape for a good price and had to buy them. The guy had been running a square setup on his 2012, so it has 285/35/19 in front and 285/35/20 in back.

On my 06 GT, I currently have it dropped on Eibach Sportlines and I’m wondering if I’m going to be able to squeeze that much tire up front. He said he had no problems but I think mine is a tad lower. I’ve read elsewhere that they should fit, but just looking for confirmation.

Anyone have a similar setup?

Depends on the width and offset of the wheels.
I'm running 19x10 ET42 with 285/35s square and have NO clearance issues front or rear.

They are 9.5 with a 44mm offset, so I think I’ll be ok.

I run the base 2012 GT500 wheels (19X9.5 all around) with square 275/35s on my '05 GT w/ Steeda sport springs. Theres lots of room. You'll be a bit lower than me with the sportlines but I doubt you will have any issues.

Yea, you will be surprised. If you have already bought them, put em on and try. You will know before you back out of the drive way completely. There are people running 20x10 rims up front with 285.

I had no rub with 285/40/18 Nittos up front, on 18x9.5 wide wheels, sitting on steeda sport springs.

Got them on and man are they close but no rubbing!

It looks absolutely killer IMO.

Awesome, the fill out very nice, especially for stock wheels from another car.
