You should really look into the products you think work. Both Seafoam an BG-44 are mostly naphtha and kerosene. Naphtha is the solvent and kerosene is a carrier and is also there to add volume. Because you wouldn’t spend the $6-$7 dollars for the 3 ounces of naphtha that’s in a can of Seafoam.

A few points to consider. Nothing dissolves carbon. Period. You can dissolve the gunk that it sticks to, but not the carbon itself. You can achieve better results using better chemicals like PEA. The active ingredient in Techron. There is another chemical that does a good job dissolving the gunk. Alcohol, both isopropyl and ethanol. It’s a great solvent and is doing a wonderful job keeping your engine clean all ready. And, That’s the only reason why Seafoam worked at all 60 years ago. It absorbed water from gas because it contains alcohol.
If you feel you need a little extra cleaning, then add something that has been proven to work. PEA or alcohol. You can even get a can of toluene. That’s a great solvent also, and it’s used in gasoline to raise octane.

Naptha is there to slow down the burn of the active chemicals. BG44 has zero alcohol. Have you ever seen real world engines in a test facility use BG44? I have and it works. Same as for what gas burns cleaner, Valero and Shell are Top Tier gasolines for a reason.

Never said Bg had alcohol. It doesn’t. As stated. Many gas companies add toluene. This is both a solvent and octane booster. Does this make it top tier? Who knows.

Well on my 07 GT Mustang I did a little different tune up. I removed the engine, trans and differential. Replaced them them a P90 Tesla performance motor and Chrysler Pacifica battery packs. Now I have a beautiful 07 GT that is a rocket ship. I'm not sure if it was a sacrilege or not to do this to a Mustang but it is a blast to drive. It does cost a little more than a normal tune though.

I don't clean my throttle body or MAF very often. I have checked them from time to time and always found them to be clean on their own. Even on my daily driven SVT focus and even with K&N air filters-despite the internet folklore that they leave oil on your MAF and all sorts of other bullshit.

+1 here.
Noted the same results on my 09 Mustang & wife's 09 Lincoln MKS.

OK here you go.
You can also see the build videos on YouTube on the Tesla motor swap channel, Mustang GT. Or on the Roadstercycle channel.
It's about 500 horse power with the battery pack I'm running. Had to use Corvette wheels to get the correct offset for the back axle which now is independent suspension. It took 3 months.

Ha, that's effin awesome dude! And showed up the boys calling BS. What ever gave you the idea? As crazy of a build it is, well done. So what is the difference in the Pacifica batteries verses Tesla? More or less range/Power?

I thought he was taking the mickey but he was obviously serious and I have to say, he's done an awesome job. Doesn't help the OP but it's a great idea though.

The Chrysler Pacifica batteries have more power, lighter and less expensive. Easier to pack in the car. There's 6 you can see under the hood then 2 under them, 2 in the tunnel and 2 where the gas tanks where.

The idea came because my wife's model 3 was so quick I could not believe it. So I had to build something quicker. I always liked the S197 so I decided to build one. It's about 500HP and gets about 85 miles range. It is much quicker than the wife's now. I have not track tested it yet but my guess is about 0 to 60 in about 3.2 seconds. Next is a all wheel drive 500HP Focus that I'm designing.

You didn't happen to weigh it before and after did you? I've always been curious about the weight saved/added with batteries and such.

At first I was thinking the 85 miles wasn't much, but my commute is only about 20 miles a day.

Don't you add weight when you go electric? The batteries literally weigh a ton.

Actually I did weigh it. I'm about 200 lbs lighter that stock. 3400 stock and 3200 after the conversion but after I put my butt in it I'm back to 3400.
