What's YOUR local track?

^^^ I second that... Good run.. That would be a fun track, but intimidating...

SCCA members and race flaggers. Lime Rock Park, Connecticut and Watkins Glen, New York

Grattan in 25 minutes away and Gingerman is one hour away. I prefer to run my HDPE at Grattan, it's like a cross between a roller coaster and a racetrack, lots of fun. Gingerman is more forgiving and the closest track that hosts 24hr Lemons racing so usually two races and an HPDE there per year.

I'd like to see some best guesses on when tracks will reopen around the country - racing or HPDE. Anybody want to hazard a guess?

Watkins Glen is like 1.5 hours from me. But I've never been to the track.

I'm hoping to run July 4th weekend at Road America (how American does that sound!!!) but that might be pushing it, I'm thinking August at this point. Were still in lockdown here in MN until the 10th and I'm guessing it will get extended? What's your guess?

I got a June event coming up at WGI. Better not be cancelled!

I see open track days registrations for Chin for COTA April 18-19. The earliest open track day for Driver's Edge is MSR Cresson for May 2-3. Early April dates were canceled. Based on that, I think July-and-later dates should be safe. The counter-point would be if open track organizers take the registrations on a "what have we got to lose" basis, since they've probably already committed funds to the tracks.

I'd be surprised if the Chin days at COTA are not cancelled. Northwoods Shelby/Road America cancelled April 25-26.
First tentative day at BIR is May 4, that as well as their SCCA licensing school May 20-22 is still on as of now.
