Getting under the dash was a little painful for me, but also being 6'4" didn't help me fit in there either :) I did like the fact for pulling the pedal assembly that the sensors all turn and come out so you don't have to unplug all of them. I would imagine trying to work the new MC in under the dash would be an expletive-filled exercise.

Yeah getting the clutch line removed/re-seated in the MC was difficult for me too, but I finally got it. That's a tight spot to work in with the AC drier being right there in the way. I had to unbolt it and use bungee cords to hold it back out of the way.

Update:

Alright folks she's installed!

Took me a little over 2 hrs to R&R it all. Yep, pulling the pedals is THE way to go about this & using a vacuum pump w\ bleedout container made short work on bleeding the new FoMoCo 13-14 GT500 MC....got a good firm pedal in 3 pump cycles & a full feed line w\ no bubbles.
Plugged the nipple on the brake reservoir to stop it from leaking while doing the R&R then pulled the plug & installed the bled out MC feed line to the reservoir so didn't need to get a stopper then pulled the top off the reservoir to allow what little bit of air that got trapped at the reservoir nipple to bleed out....done.
I found that I had a pair of long handled 45* angled needle nose pliers that allowed me to reach the clutch line pin in MC & pull it w\o having to move the AC drier then use a long flat blade screwdriver to separate the clutch line (Ford Performance SS Solid Clutch Line) then since my clutch line was a solid SS piece this made it easier to put it back in as it is formed to the right angle & position so I just used my long handled NN pliers to grab it & snap it back in the MC once I got the pedal assembly reinstalled.

Entire job was very straightforward actually...…………...but I'm feeling it in my shoulders, back & neck muscles......

This Ford 13-14 GT500 MC did indeed gain me more usable stroke vs my PowerTorque HP Clutch MC (all metal construction but designed to the Ford OEM plastic MC specs) so instead of the clutch starting to grab w\ the pedal at 2" off the floor w\ the PT MC, it now starts to grab w\ the pedal at 3" off the floor w\ the 13-14 GT500 MC & instead of the 3\16" of slack I had at the top from the bump stop I now have about 1\8" of slack. Pedal feel\feedback is much more firm\solid now than it was w\ the PT MC & she slides in\out of gear much better (especially when downshifting) so this FoMoCo part# DR3Z-7A543-A 13-14 GT500 Clutch MC is a winner indeed.

Can't go wrong w\ this part. Only thing I regret is not knowing of\acquiring it sooner...…..

Thank you for posting your results. I’m getting good at removing my front seat.
No problem.

Also forgot to mention..….pairing this GT500 MC w\ the Ford Performance Solid SS Clutch Line for S197's gives the most solid hydraulic clutch feel I've ever experienced. This clutch line is expensive but IMHO it's worth every penny of it. Only the last 10" of it (section that attaches to the TOB\Slave) is braided SS flex line...the rest is solid SS tubing that is pre-formed to fit this chassis.

Been great since day 1. I like the clutch engagement feel with the braided clutch line, it feels less like an on/off switch now. I've put around 200 miles on it just puttering around some country roads here on the nice days (since there isn't much else to do right now)

Good to hear...….was curious in respect as to the 5\8" of TOB preload you had. So I'll make note of this preload amount to use as a min TOB preload spec of sorts...….

This FoMoCo part# DR3Z-7A543-A 13-14 GT500 Clutch MC was also made in Germany as well (sticker attached to the feed hose says so)………...

FYI.

Yeah I wasn't sure what to expect there either but so far I've been happy with it. The pedal engages just a bit higher than it did with the factory setup- granted I haven't tried any speed shifting yet, but so far it seems like it should be just fine.
