Today was the first hot day since the install of my new VMP heat exchanger and Davis Craig EWP 150 pump. Ambient temperature was 89°F. I took the car for a 30 mile drive on the highway. 90% of the drive was at 90+mph with 4 bursts hitting 105mph to make sure I was producing boost. The highest IAT was 119°F. Water temperature before the Edelbrock E-force was 109°F and 115°F after. (I installed 2 water temperature gauges to monitor water temp before and after Intercooler.) Engine coolant was 199°F and oil temperature was 235°F.
With the stock heat exchanger, IAT’s would have been 15-20°F higher at those speeds.
