Would an adjustable pan hard bar really benefit me on my daily, never use the car on a track and rarely use it on the strip. Solid or adjustable?

Adjustable is for when your rear axle is shifted due to being lowered. Are you at stock ride height? If so, you do not need an adjustable bar.

If the rear being off center bothers you, than Yes.

I doesn't want to be mean, but when you lower the car about 1 inch, the additional offset is around 5 mm. Thats trigonometry. But, you change from rubber to urethane bushings and this, for my opinion, makes more effect than the minor offset. It will stabilize the axle I think.

If you are going to upgrade your pan hard bar from stock, why not just spend to extra $20 bucks on one that is adjustable? You might need that adjustability some day.

I've had lowering springs installed on my car before and I definitely needed an adjustable pan hard bar. I'll guess and say if you don't have larger tires right now, it is on your near future list of mods. Once you put big tires on and see the drivers side tire sticking out and passenger tire tucked in you're gonna kick yourself in the ass for not buying the adjustable pan hard bar.

Or.... you could just go all out and get a watts link right now!

Adjustable or not either way replace it with a stronger one with better bushings. If you still have an OEM panhard bar chances are it's no longer true and bent.

He mentioned he never tracks the car so there is no reason the OEM would be bent unless he has been jacking the rear by the panhard.

Jcg_3v94, if you are lowered and one tire seems to stick out or looks off centered and it bothers you, or if one tire is rubbing, which is doubtful given your setup, get an adjustable. If it doesn't bother you then leave well enough alone. If you are itching to get a new panhard, get an adjustable because you may want it someday and it isn't a whole lot more. BMR is the way to go.

I've helped or lowered over half a dozen Mustangs, and every one I measured before lowering and after...every single one in stock ride height was off by 1/2" to over an 1". When the cars were lowered, some came closer to being centered and some not. If it's a daily driver and you only track it once or twice, or if you take it on the twisty roads for fun, just measure it the way it is and see if it's off center. If it's within 1/16 to 1/8" off, then don't worry about it, if its more than an 1/8", then it's up to you. If you don't lower the car and the measurement is good, there's no need to spend the money...IMHO
