Turn5 sucks. i wouldnt order anything from them. Lately its been nothing but horror stories of damaged goods and AM makes it difficult to return. Too many other places to shop any way. LMR is still my go to.

Where do you guys recommend our shopping for mustang parts? I’m new and obviously found American Muscle easily, I’m bummed to hear the negatives. So where should I go? Steeda? CJ Pony Parts?

Any other vender.
The AM branded stuff is junk.
The brand name stuff they sell, you can find cheaper elsewhere, even with paying for shipping sometimes.

I've bought a fair amount of parts from LMR for my '93 GT recently. Buy online and it's delivered 4-5 days later. AM is not Pep Boys for Mustangs, it's JC Whitney for Mustangs. They're a joke now. Once great. Now a footnote. I looked at them for some very basic Foxbody items, and their Foxbody parts selection is laughable. They used to have lots of stuff. It's pretty clear they are chasing the "it" car stick on parts market. They carry what I call "easy money" parts.

LMR is really good, but even their prices are sometimes not the best. Gotta do your research.

Beefcake racing is another good place.

I'm gonna give this a very strong second.

I ordered a set of MAC headers for my Foxbody from Beefcake. After literally months of speaking with them a couple times a week it was clear that even Beefcake could not get an answer from MAC about when the order would get filled and in the end they said they had heard things might be in trouble on MAC's end. Liek they may have money troubles. Beefcake offered me my money back and also offered a set of headers that were usually a hundred dollars more a set at a notable discount. I took that offer.

I always felt heard and never felt lied too. I felt they did everything they could to help me. Stand up place in my book.

Terry is very easy to get in touch with. he has all the normal products, great pricing and he races so he has first hand experience with what parts work well.

I get most of my stuff thru Summit Racing. I usually find tires and brake pads the cheapest thru them with free shipping. Last two things I bought were a set of rear brake calipers and a set of 275/35/20 Firestone Indy 500's and Summit was the cheapest I could find on both.
