I got the car with the wheels and tires already on it. Im going to step down to a 295 tire. Should be more in line with the power of the super. Now I just need to address this clutch. Damn this is getting expensive, fast. Faster than my stock mustang,

Clearly you need to replace your clutch. Perfect time to upgrade a bit for the coming step up in torque. I have had good performance from McLeod products so I would recommend there Street kit. Add to it their steel flywheel and throw out bearing and your set for about 500 ftlb. Make sure you get a new, roller type pilot bearing.

I wouldn't waste the time with swapping the rear tire for 295 unless the 305 is worn out (sounds like its not). Mine will melt the 295's I have on the back right now. So if you're planning on a supercharger in the future, keep the 305s.

That’s a lot of rear tire for a stock 3 valve. I also have a 2010 track pack with J&M control arms/panhard bar, Koni Orange ST’s all around, and a Boss 302 sway bar on the stock 255s and I can burn the tires at will. Planning to go 285s at most in the rear.
