Hello,

I tried to figure out how to clean the AC system, therefore I removed the blower motor, but didn't see a good way to get to the evaporator. Is there a video or guide how to do it?

Thanks!

Unless someone knows more than I do you’d have to evacuate the system and pull the whole hvac box to get to the evaporator. Ask me how I know...

All depends on why you think you need to clean it.
If you have a musty odor from the AC, there are products you can spray in there. Used to do it when I worked for a dealership.
If its more than that, then yea, you are pulling the dash.

The oder when I switch on or off is very annoying. I know from other manufactures, you sometimes have to pull a plug or make a hole somewhere to get in front of the evaporator to clean it.

Have you tried running it for a while? That musty odor from lack of use usually goes away after a good 20-30 minutes of constant use.

^This. Ford has/had a chemical spray just for this issue. Used it myself many times when I was a Ford tech.

Yes the strong cheesy odor disappears after some minutes. I think the spray has a long hose to put it somewhere?

I did this, but with Isopropanole, around 50+ ml with blower on 4. Worked good. Thanks!

We have a chemical cleaner that gets sprayed into the evaporator drain. It goes in as a foam and sits for a few minutes. Does a great job. Then there is a cleaner spray that does get sprayed through the outside vents.
