I run 1” lines with no restrictions and a Stewart emp pump. Detonation is not an issue. By the time I come down the return road at my track my iat’s are already back down to 120* and dropping
FINALLY !!! Quick update. Got my tune dialed. Pretty damn safe. Had to fix some belt issues but here’s the run down and results on low boost and a video. 100% pure 93 gas no additive or 110, no meth, no ice, 16psi until right where power fell off and hit 17psi, 17* total, he drops my afr in at 11.7 and by 6k it’s at 11.0 so there is still alot ( maybe 50ish)on the table between the fuel and another degree or 2. Pulled to 7k. Iat topped out at 117. Final numbers on this were 720/612 but what’s more impressive is the hp curve. Don’t mind the tire spin. Dual bearing idlers are a must before I can go back to try an make 1k on the 2.5” pulley.
Impressive, I have a DOB setup (Gen 2) as well. Don't have a built bottom end though. By chance can you tell me what the short block cost you and what the turn around was?
I built this shortblock 7 years ago so cost was absorbed then. This go round was a refresh with new pistons but I also had the block sleeved. Was around 6k this time. I run coated custom specs diamond pistons, Oliver rods, etc,,,
