Hey Gabe! Installed my Ford Performance end links and Steeda rear sway bar tonight. Took me an hour and 4 minutes. Yes I timed it! Lol!

View attachment 73693

How difficult was it getting the end links onto the rear sway bar? After the hassle Gabe went thru getting his bushings on the end links and rear sway bar, I'm hoping your Ford Performance end link bushings weren't nearly as difficult getting them installed onto the Steeda rear sway bar lol. I definitely like how well designed and beefy the Ford Performance end links look.

That looks really good.
22mm or 24?
My car already has a 24mm bar, I'm hoping to upgrade the links and bushings soon. Will most likely do a setup like that

Gabe! How do you tell if the rear sway bar is 22mm or 24mm? I don't have any prior experience changing the sway bars

The end links were a piece of cake. It's kind of hard to tell by the pics, but they have caps held on by a couple bolts. Along with the bushings being split on 1 side, everything just pops on. You don't have to slide them on from the end of the sway bar like Gabe had to do.

Definitely good to know for sure lol. Just curious if the Steeda rear sway bar included the sway bar bushings or were they separate? Also curious why you went with the Steeda rear sway bar over the Ford Performance rear sway bar, being as you purchased the Ford Performance end links over the Steeda's

Installed a blow-off valve, next is a better tune. Though the sun is hot here so maybe tint is better

The Steeda bar comes with the end links. TBH Steeda makes the FRPP end link kit, and Eibach supplies the bars. Bujeeze's kit is the full kit from Steeda, and the FRPP is virtually identical but they dont sell just a rear set, you need the full enchilada

I measured it, lol.
I have a pipe caliper, at least that's what I think it's called. It worked great.

Look as though I'll have to invest in one of those pipe calipers or whatever their called Gabe lol.

So I assume the sway bar bushings are also included with the Steeda kit?

Heat wave coming. Supposed to be 115* this weekend. Decided to top off the A/C and make sure she was running good and cold.

I'm interested in the Steeda rear sway bar and Ford Performance end links. Meanwhile, can you provide the part number for the Ford Performance end links you have, just to make certain the bushings are the proper size for the Steeda rear sway bar?

It depends which 1 you order. Mine only came with the axle mounted bushings but they aren't as nice as the Ford Performance ones so I didn't use them.

This is the front and rear bushing kit but it was cheaper than buying just the rears by themselves. Lol!

So I assume then, the Steeda rear sway bar you have is 22mm?

I also see where your coming from and agree about the Ford Performance bushings as the better quality. The Steeda Bushings also don't provide an option for re-greasing with a grease gun from the website image

However, I'm actually surprised you didn't consider the Steeda rear swaybar with endlinks kit, as the Steeda endlinks are supposedly heavy duty and backed by lifetime warranties on both the swaybar and endlinks lol.

I bought the end links first thinking they would work with my current sway bar. After trying to install them and discovering the discrepancy, I couldn't find just the rear on the Ford sway bars. It was always a set (front and rear). As far as the Steeda links go, I just didn't like the way they looked and for less money, I got the front and rear bushings with the Ford kit.

Bro, I need you to drain a fill on my Armada. 10 years of the same Freon and it is blowing cold at about 20%. The refills you can buy from auto store with a built in gauge say it's full. Boooo

Pulled the rear axle out from under the stang and have it up on the work bench. Popped the cover and dumped the lube so tomorrow I will begin the 4:30 truetrac install.
Anybody running an Eaton Detroit TrueTrac without C-clips?

You might have a lot of air or moisture in there. You need to go get the system vacuum drained for at least 45 min to an hour. Then you can get the gauge manifold set and add your own in there. You shouldn't have to add any PAG oil in there unless you are changing the compressor or other components. Don't us any of that stuff in the can that says it stops leaks. Get just plain 134 refrigerant.
