ive done plenty of seaching around but long story short im hoping to get some ideas on how to get my car right again, i parked it for about a month then drove it today and it stumbled when i got on it but after i got past 2800 or so rpm it continued to pull. it just kinda felt like it let out then got right back on like a stutter or a hesitation.
no engine light. ive had problems in the past with it kinda lugging at hwy speed in 5th but its not doing that now i fixed that with a tune.
im thinking tomorrow i change plugs and clean MAF sensor and throttle body. any suggestions thanks. a buddy said maybe bad fuel but i dont think so last time i drove it a month ago it ran great and i got on it a few times ran great through the gears and strong. so im at a loss at least if it threw a code id know where to start i may be to dependent on computers lol anyway thank yall very much

What you mentioned is a good place to start. Also check air and fuel filters. Fuel does not go bad that quick. It would be a good idea to add a bottle of Techron Concentrate Plus just in case.

Ok, so you had a hesitation before and a tune fixed it.
Now you have a hesitation again.
Sounds to me that either the pcm lost adaptive learned fuel trims
OR
you have an issue that is getting worse that the tune now cannot compensate for.

I would monitor live data from the pcm when the car is hesitating. Look at STFT and LTFT, commanded timing, and commanded AFR.

While cleaning the maf can fix hesitation, if you don't have an oiled type air filter, that is likely not the problem.

Does BBK state it is an "oil" type filter? I would not oil it if it is a dry filter.

Have you done the 'clean throttle body-clean MAF sensor' routine lately? That should take care of it.

Sounds like Charge Motion Control Valves. Sometimes during acceleration there can be a slight delay when they open around 3000rpm. Normal for a Mustang and nothing to worry about.
