RIP - You will be missed
He mentions an article discussing the PHB vs Watts link . . . did that ever happen?

I do have to pick one rather minor nit here - 92.2 bore x 92.7 stroke is undersquare, not oversquare. But he's not the first (younger) person to get the two terms confused.

Billy Johnson has actually raced S197s professionally in the Continental Tire Challenge. For W2W racing you would definitely weld in a cage and more reinforcement. But I believe the point of this project is to make a budget track day car, which doesn't really need it.

Kinda missed my point there. It was a reference to one lenghty "discussion" on here. Iol

A cage for safety, absolutely. I dont have a cage in mine. I know I should though. Just to have a good mounting point for a 5 point.. but I digress...

A CAI & tune will certainly get you close to 400rwhp. The 2018 intake manifold adds significantly more power from 6500rpm.upwards and extends the powerband to 7500rpm, whereas the 2011-2017 manifolds are done by 7000rpm.

Magnaflow direct fit X. Not emissions compliant though.
Just to clarify, bone stock Coyote engine out of 2013 mustang.

Add LT's to the mix, (and a tune)...and it will be off the chart.

I'm surprised how much midrange power and torque were lost with that manifold. I'm sure you could get that back with headers, but then it's not exactly a "budget" car.
