I don't live in Texas. But there has to be at least a couple. The whole satin black thing is overdone thanks to the "rat rod" fad IMO. I'm diggin the truck through.

Guy I used to be friends with had a late production '93. It was red. He put a Kenne Bell on it. It was awesome.

Most have gone with satin gray's across the country. I am in several lightning groups and gray and blue are the most popular aftermarket colors right now.

Cam specs,
544 int/.562 exh 238 int/248 exh @.050 110 LSA 106 ICL

Swapped to a single tank in the rear and removed the side tank. Removing all of the stock fuel system and going to install everything from the Holley efi kit. Going to get rid of all the emissions crap and clean up the wiring under the hood. I will not need half of it when im done. Going to sell the ported GT40 lightning upper and lower intake, computer with chip and maf system. I am not going to be using any of it.

That intake would severely choke that motor. I'm not sure what is out there these days as I haven't shopped for windsor parts since 2009 but something like a Super Victor converted to Fuel injection would be a good start.

Im going to run a dual plane performer rpm intake and Holley sniper 900 cfm fuel injection. I already have the stuff to do it. Engine is sitting in the corner ready to go.

418 inches will not need a dual plane intake. I'd put a Victor Jr on it with the EFI.

That will make one hell of a torque curve. After considering it is going to be in a 5000lb truck, that RPM might be a better match.

Makes me want to build another big inch windsor.

I didn't realize they were that light. I had a bare bones 95 straight 6, 2wd and it weighed 4600 on the scale at the local dump. Who knows if that scale had ever been calibrated though.

I may have just the guy for you.... let me hit him up... he is in Texas

being you are part of the Lightning community the name Gumby Sanders should ring a bell.... he had the green and black twin turbo coyote in the gen 1 truck... he would be who i would reach out to at texas speed lab performance

he recommended VASFAB in Houston
