Loose sensor after Kenne Bell install

I found this sensor hanging under my front bumper. Its to the right of the heat exchanger. Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated.
2010 Mustang Gt
4.6 3v

Do I have one of those? I don't think I've ever seen that on my car.

For a second there i thought that was the cylinder head temp sensor. I was about to feel so much pain for you lol

Do you have outside air temperature displayed on your console?

Nope. I feel kinda deprived now though, like I've been missing out or something. I do have an extra window switch though that goes to my trunk now so I guess that makes up for it.

As noted, it measures outside ambient air temps....and press fits /clips in on lower grille...on driver's side. After about 2-4 blocks, indicated temps will drop a few degrees, then indicating correct outside ambient temp.
