After getting the Tune, the car doesn't feel as responsive as it did before. Throttle used to be snappy. Now, when I WOT it, there is a lag, kinda like too much fuel was dumped or a spark loss. The dyno chart also worries me. I thought it was supposed to be smooth all the way across. The tuner also said I was on 10 lbs of boost. I haven't confirmed this yet, but is this right for the power level?

This was a dyno tune by a local shop. He said that the area from 2750-3250 rpm was an area the he didn't want to spend much more time on. It isnt cost effective, to put it simply.

Wait, isn't that what you are paying him to do? I wouldn't have given him any money if he didn't want to do what he was hired to do. He done effed up your tune, there should be nice flat curve all the way up to 5500-5750 where it should start to drop off. I would go back and tell him to do it right. Actually just don't go back and write it off to a learning experience. Go get a tune from someone else.

I wish I could just chock it up to a learning lesson. Unfortunately, this is the only shop/tuner around, as far as I have been able to find. Getting frustrated

Go to Lito. As long as you have a handheld Tuner, Wideband AFR and a Laptop it'll run better and be cheaper in the long run.

I hear your frustration. You're gonna have to invest into some gear to have Lito tune it but it is your best option. It will make a world of difference. give him a shout and let him take care of you.

Around how much, roughly, do you think getting a wideband and the install, will run me?

Another vouch for Lito. Tuning aside, he's a great resource and interesting guy. I'm thankful to know him, not just because he tunes my car.
His tuning has always been top notch in my experiences. He's the sole reason I didn't invest in HP tuners and teach myself to tune after experiences with other big name companies.

Ditto here. Lito is also kind to and patient with newbies like myself that have no experience in data logging and have a million questions.
I just installed a wideband in my car. Not difficult, just a little time consuming to do a clean install. Now I'm just looking for some spare time to go out and do some logging.
