It's a fun project for sure waiting on special paint to finish it up. I used the boss 302 brace for my inspiration. Was what I had before and really liked it. I ended up with a 21 degree bend on one side and 22 on the other so both sides were within a degree of each other so I will take that. My rails are much higher and wider with this manifold so wanted to clear. But another hindsight I would probably move the bends 1-1.5" closer to center if doing again. Would still clear fine and put slightly less bend angle. This thing is frigging solid though, hefty brace for sure 1/8" thick steel throughout.

Nice work!

How long are the runners on that S&H intake? Do you use a bellmouth for the runners at the plenum end?

Thanks, think I'm gonna do a rear shock tower brace next.

From head to top of the runner inlet inside is right at 9.5". Not a tradition na or vacuum bellmouth in a box design, plenum and runner radius was designed for boost and mid to high rpm power.

1x3x.120 for the brace?

I used .125 1/8" thick, plenty strong.

In the end really depends on what your setup has room for the raised scoop on my cervinis hood gave me more room for the 3x1 1/8 thick tube steel. So I would check hood to manifold clearances for your setup and pick a size. If the 3x1 hadn't worked out my backup plan was to go tad smaller 2.5x.75 etc.
