Hey I keep having an exhaust leak from my bbk shorty headers down to my H pipe. Is there some sort of donut gasket I can fit inbetween the two to prevent this leak from coming back?? If so what size?

I have a 2005 GT

Links would be best

Thanks!

Remove, clean and use high temp copper rtv. Let dry for a few hours before running then start up. Let the car run for a little bit as the exhaust temp will help cure it the rest of the way.

Bbk headers are notorious for this. Copper rtv like mentioned above is your best bet. But a bead on both ends spread around and let it set up for 20-30mins then reinstall.

^^^Yep^^^

HT Silicone (aka "liquid copper") works magic on exhausts. Probably the best/cheapest solution too.

I'm having the same exact issue on my 2005 GT with BBK Shorty headers.
That's a Great idea and I'll give that a try Thank You.
Also try replacing the POS flange studs that come with the BBK headers
with a set of Dorman # 03129
