In need of locating the correct serpentine belt size/part# for Saleen VI S/C which has the 3.6" blower pulley. After checking JDM and Brenspeed's website, I located a part number for Gates Micro-V (K061080) which both claim to be the correct part number. However, according to Saleen parts website, it claims that part number is for the 2.875" blower pulley. Needless to say, I have no idea at this point as to which part # nor belt size is the correct one for the Saleen 3.6" pulley. Meanwhile, any feedback/advice would be most welcome.

I used a v10 water pump (100mm) and used the 90mm metal pulley in place of the plastic 76mm Saleen pulley. That gates belt is the right size if used with this pulley combo.

You can also add an HD to the end of that part number to get the heavier green belt. You will have to trim the tensioner for it to fit correctly. Jason at DOB confirmed length with me and adding his Frankentensioner would be a good idea. Everything I found was to long or to short.

Totally depends on your pulley set up...
Do you have the MoSaleen arm? Do you have the V10 water pump pulley? Overdrive crank damper? 100mm idlers anywhere? ... Etc...

You might have to buy a few different sizes to get the perfect one that puts your tensioner in the middle of it's travel range. Buy through Amazon or a local store so you can return what you don't use.

I like the Continental Elite belts here's the common part #'s used for the 3V S281SC Saleen' s... Each belt is about 3/4" longer than the previous one.

4061065 (106.5" 6-rib belt)
4061073 (107.3" 6-rib belt)
4061080 (108" 6-rib belt)

All I know is all pulleys that were included with the Saleen VI 475HP upgrade kit were installed. Only the blower pulley was changed from the 4.0" to the current 3.6" blower pulley. Other than that, no other pulleys have been changed

I canot reconmend the Elite belt for blower application. Had one with Eaton charger and it was worn in record time. I guess the rubber surface in contact with the charger pulley is smaller than the normal belts.

Gates Micro-V K061080 and Napa Micro-V NBH-25061080 appear to be the same belt with effective length of 108.18" and outside circumference of 108.71" with 6 ribs. I'm also considering Gates Micro-V K061098 with effective length of 108.87" and outside circumference of 109.44" with 6 ribs. So my question is, which of these belts would be the correct fitment for the Saleen 3.6" blower pulley, Saleen 76mm idler pulley and Saleen alternator pulley. As for the V10 water pump pulley? I'm not quite certain if that was included in the Saleen VI S/C kit or not, if it wasn't? then it would appear the water pump pulley is OEM/stock

2005 GT with Saleen Series VI SC with 3.6 pulley. All pulleys are stock Saleen. Belt is Gates K061080.Have run this setup for 14 years with no problems. Was going to go to a 3.4 pulley and bought a Gates K0610075 belt never installed it along with 3.4 pulley. Still hanging in the garage.

Totally respect your experience... I've just never had one issue with the Continental Elite belt... About 10k miles of hard driving... Including plenty of track time on a road course and in AutoX.

Running on a 2.75" s/c pulley, MoSaleen arm, 8-rib set up, V10 w/p, billet 90mm idlers, ATI super damper.

Just got off the phone with JimIII from JDM engineering.. Despite confirming the Gates K061080 is the correct belt for Saleen Series VI S/C with 3.6 pulley, Saleen performance parts website claims otherwise by stating their serpentine belt for the 2005-09 Saleen S302E is the correct one with 107.38" for the 3.6" drive pulley. Needless to say, I'm completely stumped as to which is the correct belt according to the Saleen performance website description. Anyhow, I've went ahead and attached a portion of the Saleen website description. Meanwhile, I hope that someone can chime in regarding the Saleen website description claims

Serpentine Belt 107.38" 05-09 S302E
Serpentine Belt 107.38" 05-09 S302E

$49.99

SKU: 00-1604-C17790

Quantity

Details
These 6-rib 107.38" serpentine belts run quieter, stretch less, and transfer more power than other belts. As they warm up, the composite construction between the cords and rubber compound becomes more efficient at turning your engine's accessories. And by absorbing the shock and vibration transmitted from the crank pulley, the belts can help your harmonic damper to better reduce harmful vibrations.

OEM replacement for 2005-09 S302E (Extreme) and fits and Saleen Series VI, VI.5 Saleen Supercharger system with the 3.6" Supercharger Drive Pulley.

Totally fine, the Elite lasted around one year, 15000 mi, the Gates before 50k+. Had a 2.4'' pulley with 120 deg contact angle.

4061073 or 4061080.

107.3" or 108.00"

The 107.3 might be a little tight for all stock components... Unless you have an aftermarket tensioner like one from Department of Boost or ThumpRRR. The tighter / shorter belt might cause your stock tensioner to bottom out, which is not good.

JimIII from JDM engineering recommends swapping out the stock Saleen 76mm idler and tensioner pulleys towards Ford OEM 90mm steel tensioner and idler pulleys along with Gates Micro-V K061080 which is the 108.18" belt. That being said, would you also suggest following JDM's recommendations?

YES! JDM has been building and tuning these cars for a long time. You can take their word as gospel.

The lower driver side idler up-size moves the belt a little closer to the crank for more wrap. The same concept applies to the larger V10 water pump pulley... It moves the belt over toward the S/C pulley slightly for more wrap.

If there's any mod I'd recommend more than the above it would be the MoSaleen idler arm. You will eliminate any belt slip with the MoSaleen item. And he (owner / developer Scott VanHoose) can tell you exactly what belt to use with various pulley combinations as he's experimented with them all.

I also asked JimIII from JDM about the larger V10 water pump pulley and MoSaleen idler arm. He said just go with the OEM Ford 90mm idler and 90mm tensioner pulleys along with Gates Micro-V K061080 belt in 108.18"

Just to follow up, it was in fact the Gates K061080 belt in 108.18" that was the correct size/part# which was also the old belt part#.. Went ahead and replaced the Saleen 76mm idler pulley with Ford OEM 90mm idler pulley along with new Gates K061080 belt and also replaced the old belt tensioner with a new Ford OEM one for the time being until able to upgrade to either Thump rrr or American Racing Solutions belt tensioner, as recommended by JimIII at JDM engineering.
