Just recently got back to hitting the track after many years of being away from it. Will be driving my 08 GT automatic, JLT series 3 intake, 3.73 gear, BMR upper and lower control arms, Borla Atak exhaust, Billet Pro Shop rear brake kit. I will be running on Mickey Thompson ET Street R tires on Jegs 15 inch wheels. Looking to see what you are using for your log books, along with what tire pressure gauges you are using at the track? Best past to date on street tires is 13.79 @ 100.83, with a 2.09 60ft.

Hi. Do you get any NVH with their control arms. I was reading on another thread about a guy who did their entire kit and got major noise as a result.

Just avoid the spherical bearing lowers and use a poly bushing on the chassis side of the upper control arm and you'll be fine.

None, when doing the install we just made sure everything was lubed up real good, and I have not had any noise out of my rear suspension.

I just make sure to always use the same tire pressure gauge. I have a race one that only goes up to 30PSI so you can see the smaller increments better. I just write everything on each slip that I get after my run. I include the following on the slip:
-tire psi in the staging lanes
-burnout time
-launch rpm
-time of run
-whether or not the sun was out or if it was cloudy
-the DA, which I just look up on here: https://airdensityonline.com/us-track-list/?filter=222
-temp outside

Then I staple all of my slips together from that day, and then I have a separate notebook at home that I write down notes in, and just put in there what worked. And also if I make any other changes, like big stuff, like new tires, or a new tune or whatever would be noted in my notebook for that car.

As far as what tire pressure to run, that depends. What other people run will give you a general idea of where to start, but then you have to experiment. You want the most tire pressure you can get while still maintaining traction. With a new setup I'd start at the lower limit then work your way up.

I think people underestimate what a difference track prep makes, so it really is going to depend on your track and setup of your car and a bunch of stuff, but other people's experience will give you a good range to start with and experiment with.

Do you have relocation brackets on your car? https://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=products&productid=170

I would say these are a must have. Other companies make them too.

Maybe you just didn't list it with your other suspension stuff??

If you are sticking with NA, you need a converter. My 5R55s starting slipping after about 50 or so 1/8 mile runs with the mods in my sig. Car still drives fine for around town, but it doesn't snap your neck when it shifts or spin the street tires on shifts like it did initially. Some people's 5r55s last longer, though.

The car I made my runs in this year did not have the lower relocation brackets on it, and I also didnt get to install my Billet Pro Shop rear brakes or run on the ET Street R tires. Car made passes with the stock polished 18 inch wheels with Continental Dws rear tires at street pressures. It was also on a test and tune night so track prep wasnt the greatest. But I feel to run a 13.79, with a 2.09 60 ft, shows the car has alot left on the table.
Here is where the game changer comes into play... I just picked up a 09 GT that was a stick car (engine and trans were gone), that i put a stock automatic drivetrain into... the car currently has the stock 3.31 rear in it, but does have the BMR lower control arms and relocation brackets. This will be the car that will get used for track duties when the tracks open back up. Car will be staying N/A and will start off really focusing on suspension to start. Really debating on if I do the stall or just put it back to a stick and then put a gear in the back that will work for whatever combination I go with. Car currently is all factory shocks and struts at the moment.
