Servicability for one. You can remove the Kmember for access without needing to support engine.
Never had any BMR product, so no first hand experience.
BMR makes no claim to "increased front end grip" (that Im aware of) and thats my main reason. I want more cornering grip. Reduced weight is secondary.

Seriously? Removing the engine? And how often do you do that? Oil changes can be performed without removing the engine and turning it upside down. Or is this a nitromethane drag car that gets the engine replaced every 3 runs down the dragstrip?

Removing kmember for acess. Headers, oil pan removal, etc. When you track a car, ease of servicability matters.
