Hi all
I am fighting code problems since installing Ford racing cams..
The car has full power and codes are not all the same...
most common is getting P0011 and P0135 together then sometimes P0021 and P0155 together.. occassionally I get thrown in like randomly P0443 and P0645.

I was wondering if could be some electrical issue as few of these are connected to fuse 47 ENG1 (P0011 P0135 P0443 and P0645) then fuse 40 is ENG2 and has the P0021 and P0155

I have once got alternator code P0622 ..

I have tune from American Muscle / Bama so lockout and tune should be delt with already. and the codes come randomly.. most common though is to see togeher P0011 and P0135

am going bit mad trying to figure out something...
all help apreciated

I have tune from American Muscle / Bama

Mmmm. That could be your problem right there. BAMA tunes have been hit and miss in the last few years (mostly miss) so I suggest you contact Lito and get a proper remote tune. You'll need to do some data logging so that he can dial the tune in properly, but I'll bet you'll be a very happy man when he's done. His real name is Manuel Pazo and his email is [email protected] . He's a busy guy and he's based in Venezuela, so he might be slow to respond.
I noticed that you live in Dubai but your name sounds Icelandic. I lived in Al Ain for 11 years and know Dubai pretty well. Did you join any of the UAE-based Mustang clubs in Facebook. I'd recommend American Muscle UAE; they're a great bunch of guys. I even shipped my Mustang from the UAE to Cyprus when I moved four years ago.

Thanks Dino for your input.. will try to contact Lito.
And you are correct.. I am from Iceland but been on and off here in Dubai since 2003.
I have not joined any UAE clubs yet. I was on a UAE Mustang forum which disappeared (Emirates Mustang Club) will search for the American Muscle UAE

I used Lito on a 2007 GT with Ford comp cam, WMS cold air intake and long tube headers and Flow Master exhaust, extremely satisfied, you will need a SCT tuner as that is the only one he works with.

Hi Charly.. thanks for this... will look for SCT tuner and then contact Lito. Did you use Lito from the start ? or did you start with something else and have problems ?

I can tell you I started with Brenspeed for a SC, and headers, and then a year later, cams on my 05. The car ran terrible. The tune was so rich, the exhaust would burn your eyes. It also had to idle for almost ten minutes to warm up before I could back it out of a heated garage. They told me this was normal. After I contacted Lito, the car runs like a dream.

what are you using to upload the tune if you don't have a SCT?

I attempted to use Accel tuner but it would not download existing tune as it was not the stock tune, I returned it and purchased a SCT unit. A previous owner had a SC on car and car was not retuned before I purchased the car.
I read all reviews and Lito came up as the go to for S197 tunes, contacted him, ran a data log, he sent me a tune, ran another data log and Lito sent me an upgraded tune.
The car runs great, idles nicely, set rev limiter at 6500, could not have asked for better results.

With the SCT you can change other parameters like rear axle ratio, tire size, etc. if you can wait for sale.

I already had reply from Lito. he says he can use my Bama Rev-X tuner as it is a SCT device... am now waiting to hear what more info he needs from me.. American Muscle customer support has also replied to me and told me that this cant be problem with the Bama Tune.. must be many different intermittent hardware problems going on and I should fix them first.. Lol you cant make up bullshit like this.. kind of thanks for nothing..

I am still fighting my codes... I always get the same ones now... P0135 and P0155 and then intermittently get P0443 along with P0645.. they come together and I notice that AC will drop out for few minutes.. as 645 is the ac clutch relay circuit.. Have tried to replace the O2 sensors twice.. have installed new AC compressor with new clutch and also the AC relay.. and have new evap unit installed.. have tried to study drawings to find a commonality ... but now everything points to the PCM / ECU and have ordered a replacement unit.. will give update if that will fix the problem

What aftermarket electrical accessories have you added? To me this sounds like an intermittent open circuit.

It is only the ac clutch P0645 and the evap P0443 which are intermittand and always come together at same time .. the Ot sensors heaters P0135 and P0155 come on immediately when started and are not intermittent. occasionally I get P0011 which is the VVT solanoid on bank 1. I have already replaced that also. I have no added electrical accessories ..

Just thinking this through, no research on wiring.
1 You had no codes
2 work was done to install cams.
3 all those codes point to the right side of the engine. (That is the passenger O2 that is faulting, correct?)
4 most likely issue is something did not get reconnected and/or is lose. Best guess, is a lose ground wire.

I did have one code prior to the cams.. bank 1 O2 code P0135. It stayed on always even though had replaced the sensor twice. previous keeper had actually removed the fault light bulb from the dash to hide the problem. The other codes started soon after adding the cams... and only two of the codes are bank 1 but 4 out of 5 have link to the same fuse.. no 47. The fuse is good and two of the four codes are intermittent and if fuse would be bad then would have at least 6 codes all the time... The code P0155 is Bank 2 O2 sensor (left side of engine) and is on a different fuse and circuit and no connection .. the evap unit is not at the engine but at the fuel tank and that is the one which is intermittent with the ac clutch...

If that fuse is powered from the SJB, the SJB can and will cut power in case of an overload. And than reset. If that fuse is directly powered from the battery and does not blow, that only leaves an intermittent ground connection.
