Just got my LTs delivered. JBA titanium ceramic. Street legal in states without CA emission standards. (Previously 49 state legal, now its like 45 states)
Accompanied by Amico power 205 Tig welder.

Those are the ones I have, they've been holding up great for 5 years (despite the shop warning me the coating is eventually going to flake off)

As for me, shopping around for a new battery. 2nd Optima red top to die at 5 years old. Way too much money for something that only lasts as long as the cheapie parts store batteries. The stock motorcraft battery lasted longer

5 years is all I ever got out of yellow tops. Went back to conventional cheap wallyworld batts. All of our cars now have Everstarts.

Walmart sells their rv batteries in a different section and they are a lot cheaper than the ones in the auto section. My kid had to get a new battery and it was 150ish in the auto section and 57 in the rv section (same size)

First wallyworld battery was in a used car I bought. Date sticker 7/13. Zero issues, still driving that car today with that battery. Second one went in the van when it would not start while on vacation in VT 3 years ago.

I never seen the RV section around here... hmmmm

Did you secure wire the hats to the rotors ?

Yes sir. Twice. The original hats that were supposed to fit, didn’t. C6C64ED7-D7D6-4296-BD9E-39F8DA85B9FA.jpeg D18AFCEA-3017-4354-BF9C-83F1B6E64E7A.jpeg
Wilwood had this problem on other early model 05’s, so they sent me new hats and brackets that would fit. So I had to cut off the wires, bolt on new hats, and wire again.

ordered strange front and rear light weight racing brakes, spool, new slicks, and an alternator to convert back to 12v, have to charge the battery between rounds sucks.

With that I will have some parts for sale here soon. Front and rear cross drilled slotted rotors, Eaton tru-trac, factory axels and maybe 3.73 ford racing gears. I will post in parts for sale once removed from the car.

I really like my Tru-Trac with 4.10s on a 255 tire. The torque bias is really nice.
