So to the sway bars on my Base Mustang GT. From everything I have read, they are 24mm back and 34.6 in the front. The only bigger back seems to be for the Boss at 25mm and then 26mm depending on the vin. A 2020 GT350 has a front of 38mm. I want the biggest I can get that will fit. Any ideas? The 25mm back versions seem to be EZ to get for about $200. Everything else seems to be in a maze of part numbers. Who knows the best way to go about this?

Have you looked into Whiteline, BMR or Steeda? They should have the largest aftermarket sway bars.

I would like to use a Ford product. Generally all 2012-2014 GTs no matter what, have the same 34.6mm front sway bar. Then for sure the BACK sway bar for the Boss is 25mm vis 24. The LS is 26 but they are saying too heavy for the street. So it's CR3Z 5A772-A @ 24mm for $160 is for the Base and everything else. CR3Z 5A772-D 25mm for Boss at $200. Then the LS unit at CR3Z 5A772-E 26mm at $203. They seem to come with all bushings and links which alone are over $100. I will talk to my local Ford Dealer first.

Why do you want a larger rear bar, and why do you want to stick with OEM?

I guess the same as wanting big brakes all the way around. Besides I get all new bushings and links. Some say it's installed in less then 1/2 hour.

The Laguna Seca edition of the Boss got the biggest rear bar. I'm pretty sue that is the 26mm that you are talking about. I have one but never put it on my car, PM me if your interested in buying it. I have no idea how much it would cost to ship.

The big sway bars seem to be slightly under 20lbs. Lots of dealerships are selling the Boss 25mm bars for about $120 plus $20 shipping. Full price seems to be about $180 or so at the local dealership. The 26 mm you have is kind of rare and you need the vin to get one. Are you sure it's a 26mm? The inch sizes are .95 for the 24mm. Then .99 inch for the 25mm. The 26mm of course is over an inch.

What is the purpose of these upgrades? For a strictly street car, I see no justification.
If you are looking to improve/tune handling for road course use, you need to figure out what changes will achive the results you are looking for.

Well I do take it to Summit Point every so often. That should count for something. The Plan: Strut Tower Brace, Big Brake Kit all the way around, Boss 25mm rear sway bar with new bushings, Track Apps Cluster and Brembo Wheels. Got the first two done.

The Brembo wheels I am working on. One needed a little touch up. The other three look like new.

Ok, you track it. So what change are you looking for on track?

Love Summit point. I've run all 3 tracks many times.
I have not run Jefferson in a car, or Shenandoah on a bike.

Well here is the biggest stiffest sway bar that I have seen specifically made for our cars.

But what are you doing with the rest of the suspension to balance this out? Putting a real stiff sway bar on the rear may lead to some serious and dangerous handling issues. Even the manufacturer of this bar says they recommend that you unhook it on the street for safety.

Literally none of that will help you on the track, other than maybe the"Big Brake Kit," assuming you didn't get some hard parker shit.

Also, the stiffness of a sway bar is not measured in dollars. Maybe you should go do some reading of threads in the Corner Carving section before you blow a bunch of money on stuff you don't need.
