image.jpg How do I take this f&cking thing off?!? I got the pan off the car, I got all the bolts out except for one. I can’t seem to get to it, anyone have any tips? It’s literally the only thing standing in my way of replacing the damn waking windage tray.

10mm thin wall wrench, find one or make one. We have all been there.

I think it might be 8mm... But a simple wobble and 1/4 drive socket should do the trick.

Sooooooo I couldn’t get a socket or wrench on there, so I just took a file and shaved off the corner of that little knub and one of my sockets went right on. After a week I think she’ll finally be back on the ground

I've taken a pick up tube off a couple times with the pan still on the car... Just the front cover removed. I used an open end wrench and a magnet to catch it if it fell. I could swear it was an 8mm... Because I have some ratchet wrenches that I can use on the more open side.

It’s a 10mm. I couldn’t get any of my sockets to fit so I just ground off the corner of the block just a weee bit and it came right off, no issues. I didn’t want to pull the timing cover off since we were doing everything from underneath and already had half of the car apart.
