These aren't really all that new since a handful of people also create these with their own twists. As a dude that loves the alternative scene I really loved the idea of "Death'ing" out the pony emblems.
Use to own a '98 v6 and some dude on eBay hand created some a while back. Bought both the front and tribar emblems for roughly $120 dollars.
Now that I own a 3v 05, decided I wanted to recreate the emblems myself and the detail I've done are far better (I think) than the ones I had on the '98.
What I did here was grabbed the tribar emblems from the yard off a v6, painted both emblems black with Duplicolor. Got some Acrylic Enamel paint, some fine cheap paint brushes, and went to work, using the original emblems I had as a baseline and some images off google for more detail. I'd love to keep creating more of these and sell them, S197s are somewhat rare to come by with the Tribar emblems in the yard so can't make too much of a profit doing them unless people shipped me theirs. But what do you think? These are on my car (Deathstang II)
