Just an FYI because a couple a years ago when I was getting my car repaired we were unable to source these and I went with some different window cover scoops. Never liked them as much as the louvers. Well fast forward to today as I was looking for some idler pulleys I started browsing and notice they were offering them again so I called them. They have some pre-painted ones and I bought the last TL satin silver ones but they have plenty that are unpainted that are already masked for painting. They have some colors available pre-painted but they are limited as they no longer have a painter. I know a couple of folk were disappointed in not being able to get these but they did a run and have them in stock now.

I have these on there now but I'm not a big fan.

I think these are the nicest lovers I have seen on our cars and you can actually see through them which is an added plus. Just got shipping confirmation, cant wait to get her back like I originally had her.

I got in on the group buy a couple of years ago, it took about a year for me to get them. I still haven’t painted them…
Just add them to the list of new parts I have sitting around that I have not installed. I’m about to change all of that though, she’s going up on jackstands in the garage and won’t come down until they’re all on.
Edit: that made me think about what parts I have laying in my shed.

NIB Hot Rod cams
NIB FRPP timing kit
Lightly used Kooks LTH
Kooks hi-flow cats and X pipe
BMR relocation brackets
Adjustable LCAs
MGW shifter
Koni STR-T struts/shocks
GT-500 strut mounts
New spark plugs
Shifter boot
Shifter ball
SHR GT/CS grille insert
SHR louvers

I’m sure I am forgetting something!

It's not perfectly clear like a glass window but it gives you plenty of visibility so you don't run someone over backing out of a parking spot or you can turn and see a car in your blind spot before changing lanes. That was one of the major selling points from back in the day when I originally put these on my car. Like I said earlier I currently have the Eleanore style scoops and there is a big blind spot. If anyone wants them they can have them for free. I'll even throw in the interior window delete panels.

Mine are black on the inside. I assume they paint them black then put the color over that, because all the paint is on the outside.
I purchased mine somewhere around 07 or 08. They were actually one of my first mods along with the shaker scoop.

Wait, you can't see through your SHR louvers?

Well Macman45 swooped on the window deletes for a measly $20 donation to Folds of Honor. I never even used the double sided tape when I had them in. I went to test fit them and they were snug and never moved so I just left them for the duration.

Gonna pull the window scoops this week. Anyone interested in them? Otherwise they are going in the trash.
