2008 mustang v6
mods:
moddbox supercharger kit with eaton M90 supercharger
52lb fuel injectors
255gph fuel pump
8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears and t-lock
pypes duel m80 exhaust.

My car has a stutter when i accelerate hard. it eventually smooths out but the stutter ruins the fun. I'm trying to diagnose the problem to see if its my maf, fuel pressure or spark.

I'd like to install a fuel pressure guage but the fuel rail on this model doesn't have the schrader value to connect one.
Has anyone put a fuel pressure guage on one of these? How did you connect it?

It might turn out to be my tune. I can't find a shop that will tune a v6 around here so I'm running a tune i bought online via the moddbox team.

Thanks

Hello Seanco
I have the Same Problem on my Mustang GT 2013 5.0
Vortech V3
DW 78lb/h Injectors
DW 400 Fuel Pump
Manual 8.8 Rear End with 3.31 Gears.
In winter I disconnected the battery completely for more than 4 months. Since then I also have an idling problem and the car just turns off.
Since the bigger injectors I also have the problem that the range display goes from about 120-140 miles to empty to 6 miles to empty.
Then it simply turns off although there are still 20-22 liters in the tank.
I hope you can help us.
Thanks

What tuning device do you use? If it is an SCT product, log pressure drop across the injectors.

What are you running for a spark plug gap? Could be spark blowout.

I use HP-TUNERS but I have partially solved the problem, a hose on the intank pump was broken.
then installed a new one.

I have another question. Does any of you have Stock Cats. Catalytic converter for 2013 GT for sale?

You can plug you tuning device into the OBD2 port and look at the fuel pressure in real time.
This. I measure fuel rail pressure via the OBD port with one of my 3 x aeroforce gauges, with all 3 of em plugged into the OBD port. On my 2010 GT, fuel rail pressure is normally 40 psi. But that's with the small Roush M90 blower installed, which uses bigger fuel rails..and the oem 24 lb injectors were replaced with 39 lb injectors. On a side note, to reduce the FPDC by 10-12%, I ran 10 ga wire, directly from battery..to trunk. I measure 14.75 vdc across the battery terminals with my fluke 87 DVM, at idle.
