Got the Ford Racing 1 piece driveshaft on. Got rid of 90% of the vibrations I was having (other 10% is definitely my wheels, but I have new wheels/tires on the way).

Also found the Motorcraft Memory Center button. I recently switched from a 4 gauge to 6 gauge cluster and believe it or not, this thing was a pain to find (due to global chip and resin shortages). Not a big deal but I'm pretty stoked about being able to log trip miles and change the cluster color to red haha. Only has 100,000 miles more than the car does!!

Last, I ordered this rear strut bar a month ago from AM. Finally showed up. While it was on its way, I read a thread on here about how strut bars in general are a waste of money and don't do anything... So I'm like damn, I just wasted some scratch. Neat. No worries, installed it anyway. The roads around here in Spokane/Coeur d'Alene are absolute trash. Might be the beer or two talking but, I have no noise at all in the booty, going over bumps and such. Maybe the strut bar DOES make a slight difference in combination with the adjustable panhard bar, thicker support brace, and the Eibach coilovers? Handles like a dreeeeaaam (Sorry for the dirty undercarriage, she gets driven).

Oh ya, new wheel combo.

After hours. And hours. And days. And weeks and months about reading fitment charts and blog and forum posts... I threw my hands in the air and ordered some XXR 521 20x10.5" +30 in black (with black rivets and aluminum hubcentric rings) squared up on Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus 275/35zr20's.

I know..... I know. I'm a grown man. But it looked fun. The older guys at car shows and meets will have something to scoff and spit at hahaha. Wheels/tires should be here before Sinko De Mayo.

It took a while to convince myself I really wanted to have louvers in my hood. Where they would fit best, do the most good and look descent was driving me nuts. Finally landed on a conventional location. I like the way it turned out.
Beavis doesn’t like the sound of the jig-saw but has to know what I’m doing.

Nice!
Now you've put me on the spot as I have a set of those very same hood vents....been sitting in the box for the last 9 months trying to get up the nerve\decide on where to install them in the hood.........

Question for you since you've done these already......just how far does the vent body that goes thru the hood protrude below the underside? Does it stick thru far enough to allow the hood insulation to be fitted around them?

Appreciate any info given.

The vent body does not protrude below the reinforcing structure of the hood. I don’t think it will actually touch the stock formed insulation close enough to attach to it in some way. I did not reinstall the insulation. In the picture of the underside of my hood you can just make out the reinforcing ring for the vent sandwiched between the hood sheeting and reinforcement. It wasn’t difficult to slip it in there as the reinforcing structure is attached with a soft glue. I should have taken better pictures.

Thanks for the info & they do look good!
On second look I now see that the hood vents I have aren't the same exact design.....I like the fact that those you've installed are of a more permanent mounting design type (uses screws w\ a reinforcing backplate to secure vents to the hood...I assume a waterproof seal of some sort is installed under the vent flange on outside of hood).

I've looked & never found any hood vents for Mustangs that mount like those (all I saw use double-sided tape to secure them to the hood surface.....probably why my hesitance to install mine as they are of this design) thus is why I asked if the vent section that fit into the cutout protruded all the way thru the hood past the insulation as this would have provided an opportunity to install secondary mounting devices underneath to secure the vent install to the hood in addition to the double-sided tape.

Mind providing a link to those? Would definately appreciate it!

You would think I’d be smart enough to mention the brand name!
These lovers are Trackspec Motorsports and I ordered them from Summet Racing. There are several shapes and sizes to choose from.
I did not use a gasket or sealer. Notice I sawed right through the squirter tube and repaired it. (Don’t do that).

Yeah I was prepared for the squirters as I want to mount these close enough towards the windshield end of the hood to prevent any potential water entry from entering my Ford Bullit 85mm CAI's shroud....which was gonna cross the path of the squirter line on the passenger side so I had a plan in mind to reroute the line around the louver openings. 1 of my squirters spray pattern is off anyway so's would be a good time to replace them as well.

I like the same ones you have as they look to be patterned off the OEM 13-14 hood louver design which is what I want.

Thanks again! Summit, here I come................

finally got everything together to start putting my rear suspension in my new to me 09 GT. Got everything in place, just have to get my points calculated so i can figure out my instant center and anti-squat, and then get my pinion angle set.

Are you bending the tubing yourself? Holly shit that is some work! Let us see how it comes along.

Yeah, we're bending everything ourselves. The whole finish it up this weekend thing was slightly ambitious. We got the main hoop and one rear bar tacked in, the second rear bar needs a little more fitment and it will go in too. The floor prep has to be the worst, getting all that damn sound deadening paste off of the floor...

I think it's gonna look awesome when it's done though, just gotta put in the hours!

Curious to see your new set-up. I'm running square 275/35's on rarer all black finish Shelby CS40's. Good call on the black rivets, I'm actually changing my chrome finish to black to blend with the black CS40's, chrome rivets seem so '90's, lol. (and yet were so "cool" not that long ago...)

Right on, any pics of the car on the 275's?
Wheels/tires will be here tomorrow, should have some cool before and afters.
It'll be nice having a squared setup and being able to rotate tires lol
