I keep going back and looking at your pictures. You have an awesome assortment of cars. I would have trouble knowing which one to get into each day.

Convertible weather has finally arrived in North Idaho.

OP; Not bashing convertibles...they're cool looking cars. Personally tho, not my cup-o-tea as every pre-2K sunroof/t-top vehicle leaked (air water) horribly. Whenever I see convertibles on highway, the top's bubbled out (balloon-like) when closed so guessing there's some form of air exchange (in/out) which wouldn't really fare well here in the MidWest. Trying to ride around our wintry, rainy, humid/hot, cold & windy patterns here in NE...I'd get about 5-days of top-down enjoyment a year. Now, if I lived in CA, or FL...maybe I'd consider. More power to the ones who do own/drive them - sweet rides. :D

Hi, im on my 3rd mustang convertible. 1st was 04, poor thing was a bad used car. , but i learned to put oil in the top motor, 2nd was 05, beauty but had 150k miles and im not a mechanic. Current one is a 07, found in 2016 with 45k miles. I have wanted a vert since i was a, and now 64 so very much in love. So driverside quarter window stopped working, after pulling out and removing a baggie full of small toys, rocks, dirt etc (from kids) tried to rebuild the window assy. Ended up purchasing the regulator. Today attached the glass but im not sure i did it right. Anyone have a picture of the glass and regulator? Gonna put it back today.

Haha, I was just looking at my harem of cars and realized I have two turbo cars, a twin screw supercharged car and nitrous car. I think I run the gamut of power adders in my driveway. lol

Hehehe, just about every vehicle I own is or was at one time, on an insurance "black list". ;)

My first "running" car was a 70 mustang convertible. Bought it when I was 17. I had bought a basket case 66 coupe a year earlier that was slow coming together. It ended up being a street killer. I still have the 70. I have a 400 stroker sitting on the engine stand for it. I ran out of money before I could buy the fuel injection for it. Then I bought the Shelby. Then big brakes for the Shelby. Then wheels, tires, and now turbo. Hope someday the vert comes together. Preferably before I die. My wife says she's going to bury me in it. I would prefer that to happen AFTER I die.

First Mustang was a '66 vert in Candy Apple Red that my dad bought new when I was 16. When gassed in 1st, it would pick up the front so that I couldn't see where it was going. Second one is much more civilized - 2007 GT with Koni's, GT500 wheels, and a few other upgrades. After getting the rear glass glued, I took it through an automatic [brushless] car wash. Not a drop of leakage. Now wiring up heated seats after getting the leather redone, then adjustable rear LCA's, then heading across the nation from VA to CA. Life is good!

Like most Military my ex found a boyfriend and left. The pic of the KR is after I removed my 1980 TR8 Ann Convert. My lawyer negotiate and gave the TR to my Ex and said it was a "WASH" (Guys Big Mistake). While I was station in RAF Mildenhall, England I had order the TR8 in 1979 but the TR8 Converts wasn't available in 1979 so the Triumph factory had to take a 1979 TR7 Victory Ann Convert and removed than replace with a 3.5L (SU carbs). I was extend for a year so the TR sat in the shipyard holding bay till mid 1980. The TR engine over heated and keep blowing the engine head gasket. After the third time my brother was removing the LT350 out of his 1969 corvette convert because the new owner wanted the original 427. Well Pic tell it all.

Here is the KR Front view when in my previous garage before I move to new home in 1998.
