I’ve got an 09 GT stick, supercharged and .373 gears. Time to finish the suspension. Mainly street racing. More on 1/8 and 1/4 mile. Some up top racing so drag springs are out of the question. I’ve heard steeda consistently performs best. But got the rtr rear lower control arms and great value and performance. So I thought about them too. So anyone that’s has steeda springs or rtr springs love to hear your opinions

I like my Steeda Sport springs. They tighten things up but can still transfer weight for a dragstrip launch.

I liked my Steeda Sport springs, I also like my BMR springs. With the BMR springs I went ahead and mixed things up. Did their GT500 handling springs in the front and their GT handling springs in the rear. I figured with the weight of my Whipple kit, it would be a good idea to do springs meant for a heavier front-end

Looking for no more then 1.5 drop. Heard 2in” in the front on cobra jet springs. Figure 1.5 is perfect, leaves room to go from 18” wheels to 20” if I get a deal on some Shelby wheels

I run the cobra jet springs in back and the BMR GT500 lowering springs up front. Depending on which CJ springs you get they are different heights. I would look at the whole suspension as a unit before buying parts. You have to get dampners to match the springs. What kind of control arms? Are you going to run a front bar? What bar are you planning on the rear? You want to get some stuff that's going to work together to adjust your roll center and anti-squat to where you want it to be.

I currently run Roush springs which are compliant enough for a daily commute and firm enough for canyon carving IMO. I also tried FRPP "P" Springs which lower the front around 1/2" and the rear about 1". Much stiffer and offer a firmer ride overall which might be good for your purposes. I happen to have a new/used set (used about two weeks) sitting in my attic. PM me if you're interested.

I was thoroughly pleased with the stock springs on my 2009 Bullitt. Was told the backs were the same as the CJ, I think the fronts were about the same as the v6 springs. Regardless, it was a 3/4"-1" drop from stock and they worked great on the drag strip. The car was making around 640hp at the end. I miss that car. :(

When I bought my 2014 GT I didn't like how high it sat so I swapped in the springs from my Bullitt. Used the same model Koni adjustable shocks and some BMR goodies and it handled great. And with the big fat Michelin tires (super sport something or another) it handled even better than the Bullitt, especially at higher speeds.

Thats what I think of the Roush springs, and work very well with the Roush struts/shocks.
