So , i recently installed new timing chains, guides, tensioners and arms on my 05 gt , once i started it up it was stilling running out of time . Ive taken my timing cover off 3 times now to recheck that ive time the engine properly (all marks in line and can spin the crank by ratchet smoothly). im getting codes p0345, p0349 , p2197, and none of my driver side plugs are sparking. Ive been thinking i need a new harness but dont want to spend $400 and not fix the problem. please help

Have you pulled your VCT solenoids for inspection?

Sounds weird but have you had your alternator checked recently? Not for voltage but a diode test? Weird voltage fluctuations effect cam position codes sometimes.

I would also check wiring. The whole drivers side ignition being out is probably a bad ground as I believe each set of injectors and coils from each side share a common ground.

I agree with Boss to check for alternator health. A bad diode would throw those codes. And for the sparks, how have you tested to diagnose the spark plugs are not firing?

You are either not using the correct marks to time the engine or its a problem with the camshaft position sensor. The computer uses a signal from the CPS To know when to fire each bank of injectors.
