So, I'm thinking of taking my 2.5" Hellion cold side pipe and having 3" pipe made, but if there are folks out there making around 1,000 rwhp I may spend the money elsewhere. I do know of one other 3V with the same hellion kit and running the precision Gen2 76/75 pushing that amount with the 2.5" and just wanted to see what size others are running with that amount of HP to the wheels.
Thanks

With the 3" outlet on that turbo, it is a worthwhile upgrade at that power level.

Is the Hellion kit a Blow-Thru or a Draw Thru? What model of MAF are you running? Depending on which one you are using, the 3" tubing may not be enough to keep the meter from pegging.

I'm making 1081rwhp now, with 3" cold side and had 3" exhaust I made 997, leaving the cold side the same but going to 5" exhaust picked up almost 100rwhp and a bunch of torque (1241rwtq), I am running the turbo as you

That's encouraging that you were able to get the power that high with the 3" exhaust. I've spent a lot of time trying to think of how I can fit a bigger downpipe and still keep my A/C and power steering and then realize that it isn't going to happen.

sorry that was 3" exhaust that dumped under the passenger side floor board, no mufflers, when I was running 3" full exhaust with mufflers, no CATS, and an X pipe I was around 850rwhp, when I got ride of the exhaust and just dumped it I picked up about 150rwhp. Wasn't easy getting to 1081 with that little turbo, poor thing is completely maxed at this point

I had back pressure issues too and went to a front exit exhaust that gained around 100 hp. I know someone else that has the precision 76/75 Gen2 CEA and is hitting about 1,000 rwhp still running the draw-thru setup. I've changed mine to a blow-through.

I have a 3" exiting the turbo, all the way then splits to 2 3" with no cats and only slp resonators and I am struggling to get to 700. This is normal? I have a comp turbo 78mm with a .96 back.
