Gotta agree on the heated seats. I've got a '13 Premium GT Convertible now (had an '07 Premium GT Convertible before, but gave it to my daughter) and can't even imagine going back to a hardtop. So far, no leakage with either one, but the tops are both in good shape.

My vert has factory heated seats but they shut off automatically after 10 minutes. Dealer can't reprogram for some reason so I added a heated seat kit in mine and now they stay on when I want a warm butt. Why does Ford think they know better? I think I'm smart enough to know when I want the seats on and off.

My 2013 didn't shut off after 10 minutes, and my 2017 it stays on whatever I had it set even after I turn it off (i.e. if I have the heater running or the cooling running, it is on the same setting when I start it up next time). I don't remember now if my 2013 did that.

I purposely looked for a vert. Nothing like leaving work with the sun shining and the top down.
Can't drive it in the winter but with a windscreen, windows up, and heater on you can drive when in the 50's. Plus I love the looks.

Have owned a '14 V-6 Premium Pony Package vert for the past 4 years. Live in (sometimes) sunny Florida where the top is down almost all winter and almost always up in the summer (too hot). Love driving topless. Car has heated seats, have moly used them once or twice (they get too hot for me). Car is stored outside (wife's car goes in the garage), but is covered most of the time. The stitching on the top is starting to fail; I may get 1 or 2 more years before I need to replace it. I say - go for the convertible!!!

The top is down from October to May on my 05 GT. Because of the heat, humidity and frequent daily downpours here in Florida during the summer months, the car rarely gets driven June to September but when I do take it out, the top is up and a/c is on.
