Gen 1 coyote I took the car out for a test drive and during the drive it was surging and running generally bad.
Then it flat out died and will not start at all.

Codes were P0011 (cam a too advanced) and P2107 Throttle body motor bad

I replaced the throttle body motor and the intake cam VVT actuator solenoid and she is still dead, just turns over and will not fire.

I did hear some tapping from the passenger side cam cover when it was idling before the drive.

When I pulled the cam cover to check I found nothing out of place and everything was tight.

Help would be appreciated.

Neither of those codes should cause a no-fire condition. But you may want to confirm cam timing anyway. As in timing chain marks.
Cleared codes and they did not return?
Check for spark? As I understand it, if there is no rpms detected by the PCM, it will not fire the injectors. Like a bad crank position sensor, but I don't know if that would set a code unless the sensor is open. (just an educated guess here)
Again, I would check for spark first. Or even try a squirt of fuel into the throttle body. Must have all 3 to fire:air, fuel, spark.
