I know there are posts already about this, but I need to be more specific about what I’m looking for. I have new 20” wheels but there’s still wheel well gap. So I want to lower my car.

***If you have 20” wheels and you lowered your car, what did you get to lower them? Springs, what else?

Thanks ahead of time for your help.

FWIW, I am not a big fan of "Slamming". I have a '09 with 18'' wheels and I don't mind the tire to fender gap. I also have a '14 Coupe that was pre-owned. It had red BMC? springs on it. To the best on my knowledge no other mods were done. I could not go down my friends gravel driveway at over 5 mph without bottoming out. If I mildly accelerated on blacktop and then got off the gas, I had a "clunk" in the front end. I re-installed the OEM springs per the code on the door jam decal. Been very happy since. The possibly of screwing up the suspension geometry for a styling statement is not worth it.

My Saleen, on 20's, with KW V3's.

You will need to trim the rear bump stops (just cut the top knob off) if you lower about 1.5 in.

I also am using Maximum Motorsports Caster / Camber Plates.

Tire size, not wheel size, along with springs will determine the wheel fender gap. 29" tires on 18" rim fills it up well all the way around. I have springs too but a bigger tire fills the gap all the way around, not just at the top.

If you're looking for a slight drop (1/2 to 1") FRPP "P" springs. A larger drop (1-1/2") FRPP K springs. I have a brand new set of P springs I'm not going to use. PM me if you're interested.

I might be interested. But do you have pictures with them on the car?

I ran P springs and hated them. Switched to BMR linear rate springs and the ride is much better. I'm lowered 1.5" on 19's with 255/40 and I rarely scrape anything but yes it does bottom out occasionally.

The Ground Control Coilover Conversion Kit works great, fully adjustable, works with any struts / shocks. Great price. Definitely have to cut the rear bumper stops. Best to use their camber plates with them.
