Gas mileage for the Altima 3.5 SR was 34.5mph for a 200+ mile round trip on E15. I don't have an air fuel ratio gauge on the Altima on it so who knows. I will try the Mustang later this week It already has 8 gals of BP93 in it. I will add 4 gals of E85. That will give me E35 and 98.3 octane. See what the airfuel gauge says.

Right now I have 6 gallons of BP93 in the tank. I will do two pulls. One and second and the other in third and record the g force. It should be 56 and 38. I will then add 1 gallon of E85 and do the same again. Then another gallon and do it again. The first gallon will be E20 at 95 octane in the tank. The second will be E30 and 97 octane. If it does not show on the g force gauge, then it does not matter.

Maybe cheaper by the gallon, but it aint cheaper by the mile. I could not deal with a 150 mile range on a full tank. Not to mention track events.

That is the key word here. TRACK! If the OP is expecting gas mileage after track or spirited driving there is your problem.

This is indeed the greatest disadvantage to E85. My car gets about 160 miles per tank on E85. I wish I had about a 20 gallon fuel cell in the trunk, then it wouldn't be so bad!

Not talking about a full take of E85. Rather one gallon of E85 in four gallons of BP93. That's E25 at 96.5 octane. Just went to breakfast on the BP gas only and it was .58G in second and .38g in third. Just added one gallon of E85. I will test it later this morning.

The first test was done in 75 degree 8AM morning. It's now 90 degrees at 10AM. Track Apps says the E25 mix is slightly slower and the head temps are slightly higher. The A/F ratio is slightly lower from 14.1 and the exhaust smell is slightly different. I think I will stick to BP93. It will not take long for the tank to be empty.

That 150 mile range in a tank of gas is what I got on my bitchin’ 1977 Ford E-150 van.
It is cheaper by the mile compared to 93 octane. At the track day yesterday. I went through the full tank, plus the 15 gallons I bought with.

I burn through nearly a half tank now in a 40 min session. So O would need to fill up every session.
Full tank and 15 gallons is about what I use now at an event.
If thats all you used, you didnt drive much at that event.

Ok, why dont you have free time?
LOL. Between 7 and 6 Free time is lacking. Our dealership service department is exceptionally backed up. With the new car shortage, people are increasing the service spending to keep cars running longer because they have no ne choices to roll into. It's a good problem to have. At least for us! LOL!

Some of us that are professional don't have all this extra time on our hands

I live off a big inheritance so I do not have to work. My family was part of the Great Ford Murphy Strike of 1932 where FDR talked about his new deal. We talked about this before.
