I’ve got an 2009 gt. Stick, entry edelbrock eforce, Bren speed cams and cai.

my problem is after warmed up coasting and in neutral it’ll rev up to 2k-3k. Cleaned throttle body, still does it. Any suggestions on what it might be?

Ah I should’ve thought of that. And yes I concur. Op contact the tuner.

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak but I wouldn't rule out Brenspeed's tune either. I suggest you do some datalogging and send the files to Brenspeed's tuner to have them analyzed. Since you have their Detroit Rocker cams plus the CAI kit that goes with the Edelbrock E-force, it's up to Brenspeed to sort their act out.

Actually brenspeed didn’t do my tune. I had two. First one was by Lito and I went to a local speed shop and got one. Problem still Remains. Thinking it’s another problem causing it, could be those cams but I don’t know. Plus it did a little reving when I first bought the car, when it just had the edelbrock sc and their tune. But it only reved to like 1200-1500 once in awhile then. Clearly it’s getting worse. Real head scratcher

I have the E-force and those cams also. I have never experienced the symptoms you described. I have an automatic transmission though. Did you clean the MAF when you did the TB?
Those cams and an E-force can be tricky to tune just right. Did you datalog with Lito and give him a chance to fix?
Also, check the wiring harness that came with the Edelbrock. I was warned by a mechanic at Brenspeed that they have problems, and in fact, after 18 months, I had a short at the MAF. It would work when cold, but not when hot after things expanded from the heat. I was promised a replacement harness by Brenspeed. Never got it.

I’ll keep that in mind on things to replace, interesting enough it happens more when it is hot.

Leave it in gear and try it again![with your foot on the clutch]
A lot of Fords have 2 rev limits .......3000 is usually for neutral

I know Autos also have this feature [even Euro and Aussie Fords]
This is to save the trans when some drivers shift into neutral at a stoplight.[then forget]

I agree that it could be a vacuum issue; but I have experienced the same problem, twice: once with a Bama tune and currently with an unfinished Lito tune. All other tunes have been from Brenspeed and did not have this "side-effect". (For the record, Lito has said he can fix it, but we are working on other issues first)
At the moment, my car idles high, in neutral or with clutch pressed, until it stops rolling. As soon as the car is stopped, it drops to around 800 RPMs. So if this is similar, my experience and $0.02 would lean toward tuning.

Try changing out your TPS. Mine did exactly the same thing and I changed the throttle positioning sensor and revving issue solved. I did change it a couple of times until I bought a performance TPS which handles the upgraded CPU, injectors, turbo and tunes.

Sounds like you still have some issues with your tune. I have had similar problems returning to idle. Continue data logging and capture the incident so LITO can adjust the tune.

This is likely a throttle position issue. Could be a mechanical position issue and/or sensor issue. Many stock GTs get this new problem when changing the throttle body out for a larger TB without a calibrated TPS.

Sometimes it can be tunes out but if a standard time has issues with it trust me you will not fix it with a change in tune. For any time to work it assumes certain standard part calibrations to be true. There is where your issue lies.
