I am not 100% sure it will work but I can't think of any specific reason why it shouldn't. I'm sure somebody else on here will chime in to confirm.

The entire rear end should be compatible, but if not, the internals will for sure interchange.

The rear ends from 2005-2014 Mustangs all mount the same.

the rear end should swap, but i believe in '11 the UCA was changed. So a '10 would be direct, 11+ you may need different UCA and bracket, not 100% someone chime in on that

I bought a rear from a 2013, and swapped out my 7.5 v6 rear. Direct bolt in. Use your existing upper control arm, disconnect it from the diff.
Driveshaft flange may need to be swapped. They all fit from any 8.8 to work with whatever driveshaft you have.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the pinion bearing has been improved for the 2010 facelift?

No, they all fit. I used to have a source for 8.8 rear ends up until 2014 or so when it dried up. Everything was the same for mounting. The only thing that was a little different is that some of the 2011+ rear ends were a direct fit for the 2005-10 V6 and there was no need to change the pinion flange on that swap. So for a V8 you may have to swap the pinion flange because it was set up for the V6 if it was a 2011-14 rear end.

The 11-14 UCA is different, however if used with the 11-14 mount it will work fine on the 05-10. Actually BMR is now recommending the use of the 11-14 mount and UCA on the 05-10 exclusively.

Direct bolt-in. Do be aware that some V6 cars had 2.73 gears from the factory, pair that with either of the 05-10 GT transmission options and you'll have a complete dog. Good news is that all 2011+ cars have a limited slip from the factory.

The newer UCA is better. Since it is a two piece you must pick one assembly or the other. Do not mix the two pieces, it’s all or nothing.

I swapped a '12 GT axle in my old 05 GT years ago. The only difference is the pinion bearing (front or back, can't remember) so if you ever tear into it to change gears or whatever, make sure you get the parts for 10-14.
