hey guys ,,
im trying to find a complete timing kit for my 09 gt,,
so far all im seeing is timing kits for the 5.4 4v , or 5.4 3v..

are they all the same>? the 4/.6 and 5.4?

if not can someone point me in the direction of a ford complete kit?

I got my timing set at Jegs.
The 5.4 has a higher deck height, thus the chains are longer.

Forgot to mention:
If you use anything other than OEM Ford for the timing components you're asking for trouble.

When I replaced my timing chain components ( chain, guides, tensioners and cam sprockets) I used all ford parts. Moreover, I followed the video from: ford tech makuloco (search his YouTube channel) and it gives you a step by step guide. Take your time and when you have put everything together, make sure to rotate the crank several times to make sure everything remains in time.

Freedom racing used to be a vendor on here. They buy OEM ford parts in bulk and have pretty good pricing. I've bought most of my timing parts from them.
