interesting. Were you able to try and read the tune on the stang before burning two credits? Or do I have to pay $100 to find out I can’t do it…
sounds like VMP locked the stang tune. I of course have no clue if my tune is locked. I know who did it, Evolution Performance in Pennsylvania, called them and what a bunch of rude ass people like WOW.
As far as I know, reading a tune, no credits needed. When you try to flash it, that's when you need credits.

well now it’s worth a shot there. Flagship one is “checking” after supplying the VIN, part number and strategy code…. I figured this would be a cake walk but wow what an interesting time lol
Assuming still they are flashing YOUR pcm. The VIN and TearTag code, and AsBuilt file is all they need. The AsBuilt file has all the vehicle options, cruise, tire size, axle ratio, etc. Asbuilt can be downloaded from Ford, by entering your VIN. The TearTag is on the sticker on the PCM. Does not require a lot of "checking". lol
AsBuilt and firmware file downloads are anonymous, no account needed.

beautiful. Yeah they’re doing my actual PCM or saying they can. We’ll see what they come back with. I’d be without the car while they do it but that’s fine.

Little update to this:
After supplying FS1 info they went silent. I bought the 2 credits from HP tuner ($100) and used a stock tune file and it’s running great. AFR is way better, no check engines, snappier and pulls strong all stock. Good enough for me.
