Ordered some cam phasers on the 15th of this month, and they stated they were in stock.

All I get is emails stating your order is in process, NOT shipped. As of today the 23rd, its still not shipped, and they dont have phone service. The last email I received yesterday the 22nd stating it was in "progress." I replied to that email with no answer.

Sent another email today......will see what happens.
So, if you want your parts in a timely manner dont order from them.

I order from LMR, American Muscle and CJ Pony parts.....they always deliver with speed.

I can assure you that they are not a problem company. If you call parts and ask, they might have an answer. I can also tell you that not every website is 100% accurate for inventory. Just the nature of the beast. I work at a dealership and can tell you that they might be on back order. Common concern these days.

Pick up the phone. Why do people have a question or concern and run to the nearest forum to complain, but don't stop and pick up the phone? WTF?

They dont have phone service......If you read my post you would see that. WTF!

The phone number supplied will answer with a machine stating they do not have a phone service at this time to answer my order question. I called the parts dept and they said they cannot give me an answer on a order placed online.

My only recourse is email. If its a back order part, then they should state that in the "progress" email they sent.

Do you know how to use Google? Or Bing? or DuckDuckGo? Or Safari? Or virtually any search engine on the planet? Tasca is a major dealership. They have a phone number. Probably more than one phone number. Call till you get a human that can help you. It's not rocket science.

Sounds like your boyfriend must have rejected you this morning with your attack on me. Yes, I know how to use those things.
AGAIN if you read my post, the parts guy stated he could not help me with online orders. The other phone number 401-709-7836 is a recording stating no phone service to inquire about orders, please contact my email.
Go ahead and call the number you listed and use the directory to go to online parts.....see what you get.

No reason to whine. Can even pm them here on the site or call this number.

While searching parts for my 2005 F350 (that I just bought) I found another Ford (Lincoln) dealer who sells Ford parts online at very low prices, comparable to Tasca. Bonus for me is they are in Jacksonville, FL so shipping is cheaper and faster for me. Their online website is practically a mirror of Tasca's website. And I was able to speak with a live person on the phone when I had a question about my order.

If you need something right away, O'Meara Ford in Northglenn, CO has never, literally never, failed me on getting a part. They do cost a little more... But I've been willing to pay for the convenience of having the part I want / need right away. Call: 720-647-9865. They will usually negotiate a little on price too.

I had an issue of missing parts in the x-brace seat delete installation kit that I ordered. Same as you, could not get ahold of a live person via phone, sent multiple emails. I posted up on the SVT vendor forum and sent a pm to their rep. Got a quick reply stating that they are having staffing issues and they had received my prior emails and a replacement had been sent. I believe one fellow is running the show. It came a day or two later.
So fear not you'll get your part. They're a stand up outfit, just screwed by this administration's BS, like the rest of us.

One slow order doesn't warrant a rant, especially in today's era of limited supplies/service w/ all that happening in this world. If you're still not happy, dispute the charge on your card, canx the order & go elsewhere.

If it makes you feel any better, I just received some GM parts f/ my truck that were ordered back in September.

I understand the supply and staffing issues, I waited 4 months for my shop lift. I did get regular updates, so I didnt complain.
I have asked Tasca via email twice now if they even have the part so I can cancel, but to no avail.
As I stated before LMR, American Muscle, and CJ Pony parts....great service.
I appreciate the helpful replies

Firstly, I'm editing this first bit because our site does not show any stocking status at all. I did however find that if I do a Google search, the Google results show "In stock" for virtually every hit.

If anyone can show me on our website where it actually says "In Stock" on a part please email me at [email protected] and I'll give you free shipping (within reason) on your next order.

Secondly, we're struggling seriously with staffing as are many businesses which is why the phones are off and we've pretty much limited contact to the live chat on the website. Simply can't hire enough bodies.

Thirdly, as I'm sure most know the entire parts supply chain is a massive dumpsterfire. In 30 years in the business I've never seen such a mess. Everything on back order and if it's not it's taking forever to show up and once we do ship it's hard to know how long things will take.

Please reach out to me at [email protected] if you need any help with anything.

-Steve

Firstly, I personally disagree with the site giving any stocking status at all. What it's showing is manufacturers inventory. Not what we have in our warehouse. So its really both items we have on hand or that we can generally have within a few days.

Most intelligent people understand this is a global issue and not isolated solely the USA retail level. I have had no problems ordering from you in the past. Hopefully, the supply chain problems resolves itself quickly. Not looking good though. https://www.theguardian.com/busines...sis-could-last-another-two-years-warn-experts

Regardless of what "most intelligent people" understand....Communication is key for customer service. I have yet to get an answer if the parts are in stock. I guess my slow witted ass will assume that they are not in stock.
In the past two weeks I have ordered numerous parts from LMR, American Muscle and CJ Pony parts. Without fail they have been excellent in communication, and shipping was stellar. I received my parts without incident EVERY time.
I am willing to give Tasca a chance, just keep me informed of the situation regarding my particular order. I really don't think its too much to ask.
If nothing else, starting this thread finally got someone's attention a Tasca.

Hey Steve, I just wanted to let you know that I got your email and tried to reply to it this morning but it appears your server blocked me. This is what I got back, "I'm sorry to inform you that the message below could not be delivered. When delivery was attempted, the following error was returned."

Anyways, your invoice is closed so it should be shipping today. I sent a note to the warehouse to try to upgrade the shipping speed but I'm not sure I sent it in time. Depends where it is in process.

I kind of wonder if you were getting all of our emails because I looked at the first one we sent (Dec 17th 1:02pm) in regards to your order and this was the first paragraph, "Dear Steve:
Thank you for shopping with us! One or more items from your recent order (Order 1702057) has required special ordering but should be ready to ship to you soon."

Clearly we failed to keep to our own timetable and communications are tough right now but we did say the parts were special order. If you didn't receive that email then the issue is your server blocking us. That does happen, we get blocked as spam due to the volume of emails we send out about orders.

Thanks, Steve
