Good thing it is winter time, yet the snowflakes [emoji3587] continue to melt down.
We get it, you are inconvenienced and need to bitch. Just direct it at the proper party.
Or you could just act like an adult and suck it up a little…

This kinda shit cracks me up. I have had numerous issues with UPS scannng, not scanning, losing packages, and scanning "package delivered" an hour BEFORE it is actually delivered so they made their delivery commitment of 10:30am. But enough ranting.

This age of internet and instant gratification 24x7, clearly conditioned expectations to an unreasonable level IMO.
Who here has ordered from a catalogue before the internet commerce? You mailed the check with your orded, and waited for your stuff. No way to track shit. lol Let that sink in.

I’d make a joke about “The Wells Fargo Wagon” but 95% of the members here wouldn’t get it.

He really should issue an apology. I have had a bunch of electronic parts on order since... March 2020.....still not here. There is some severe supply chain issues out there at the moment. Then toss in the various wx conditions in some cases. One of the cargo container ships ran into a severe windstorm not far off shore from me...and 3 of the containers carrying mining supplies blew up, and caught fire. 109 containers went over the side..and into the water. 4 of em washed up on shore, 350 miles north of me...in the wrong direction.... up the west coast of vancouver island. They found dozens of brand new fridges washed up on the beach! The other 105 containers have not been located..yet. They are sitting on the ocean floor, strewn over a 350 mile swath.

Nope, ordered from a major supplier in the usa. It's all a major pita. In years gone by, I would allow 3 months to collect all the parts for a major project, which allowed for screwups, etc. Now it's.... 98% of the parts are readily available, and the last 3% are near unobtanium.... go figure.

I'm back
I did finally receive the parts late Friday evening, regardless of what UPS states. Of the two phasers I received, one was defective. I have pictures.....short story, upon torque sequence the bolt somehow caught the tiny roll pins inside, sheared them and the two halves of the phaser separated. The other phaser installed without issue.
It took from December 15th (date of order) to December 31st to receive my parts. 16 days with Christmas and Sundays in there, so about 2 weeks. During that time the inconvenience of communication is my biggest complaint. The online chat is almost a waste of time, email not much better, but I will give Steve some credit for trying. In the end, I think he tried and helped as much as he could.
For those of you who still call me a whiner......https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.tascaparts.com
The bad reviews are 65% out 498 total reviews.......most of the complaints are the same as mine.
That's not the only site either.

I take every "bad" review with an enormous grain of salt. How many times have any of us been satisfied and posted a really positive review of any business? How many angry reviews have we posted when we were dissatisfied? My point being people, on the whole, bitch a whole lot more when upset with something than sing praises when happy with something.

Now comes the real test though. My measure of a company being "good" is how they handle when something really goes wrong. Like when a brand new part fails during installation.

How a business handles a problem is the real measure of good or bad for me.

Let me get this straight; you ordered parts, you received said parts, you broke one trying to install it, and yet you are still bashing Tasca?
I’m sure Tasca must have tampered with it AFTER they shipped it…
I am trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, but you’re not helping me out very much.

Btw; I got your private message linking all of the complaints. Not sure why you singled me out to send it, unless it’s because I called you a snowflake. I guess so, since that was the title of the message thread…
