Hey guys so i have a 08 GT CS that has ticking noise and I'm trying to get some help at figuring it out as i can't for the life of me. I know the injectors are known to be very loud on this car although i have not been able to find a clip of someone else's (would love a link to one) but have read that you can hear it in N which i cannot. My tick seems to only correlate to how far the gas pedal is pressed down, id day 30% and any farther it will make the noise while driving but I can't get it to make it while in N. It doesn't correlate to the speed or rpms only the gas pedal. I was thinking lifter tick so i took the valve covers off but wasn't able to see anything visible. The car was at one-point FBO with burble tune but have taken all that off as dealing with a state ref (gotta love cali) so the car is stock at the moment. I have checked everything i can think of and the last thing would be a exhaust leak which i will check out my next day off but the noise seems way too consistent for that. It seems to be coming from the passenger side of the engine bay while driving. Any ideas would be apricated so i don't have to leave it at a shop for a few days as SoCal is terribly understaffed atm.
