My 05 mustang gt had an issue with the clutch the pressure in it got all funky then all of a sudden it just had no pressure at all… I replaced the master cylinder in it hoping that would fix it and it fixed the pressure problem with the clutch or atleast we think it did for now but now it just wont go into gear we’ve tried bleeding it with a hand bleeder we got could have done it wrong we’re honestly not sure we’re going to try a different process to bleed it. Anyone got any tips or answers as to why it just wont go into gear now? Or any tips as to how to correctly bleed it or if it even makes a difference?

Use a vacuum pump and raise the left front in the air, seems best way to get any air out.

Lots of threads on this subject, search for more details

How many miles on clutch?
As the clutch wears, the spring tension increases and pedal force gets harder and harder. Till the master cylinder broke.

I vote you need a clutch.

Well what I tried didn’t work so We’re gonna try and jack the left side up and bleed it this time. I’m not sure if the clutch has been replaced or not only had the car for a little over 6 months but the car has 135k miles on it I don’t believe it has and I do not believe the eyelet broke may have to take it out again and check

Yea honestly it was probably something I did I learned how to drive a manual on it lol but either way I’m just hoping it’s not something wrong with the slave cylinder cause it’s in the trans and that’s gonna be a bitch…

If the clutch was replaced with an aftermarket unit and the slave cylinder preload wasn't checked/adjusted, the slave may have over-stroked and then finally come apart. Sorry for the potential bad news.

Well I lifted the front end and it finally started to leak brake fluid which means it’s the damn slave cylinder… thanks for trying to help me figure out what’s wrong kinda sucks that it’ll be a bitch to fix but it’s fixable nonetheless
