Hey everyone. I’m trying to change my clutch master cylinder on my 2005 mustang GT. I pulled the low pressure hose from the brake fluid reservoir. Then I pulled the hairpin (see picture) from the clutch master cylinder that holds the high pressure hose in place. I know the high-pressure hose should pull out easily, but it’s seemingly stuck. Any ideas what to do to pull it out? I tried pushing it in, twisting it, pulling it, and nothing seems to work. Please, please, please, if anyone can help, I would appreciate it.pin.jpeg HP Hose.jpeg

Did u get it ? Pull harder ? Use a pair of extendeded length extended reach long nose pliers to pry it out, carefully, don't crush anything. That's how I did it I think. How much do you weight ? Because I'm a skinny tall and weak human who was able to get it out with a slight struggle. So it is kinda difficult perhaps if ur not athletic if that's the right 2word to use

I gave up for the day… will work on it on Monday again. Frustration settled in. As far as me… I’m very athletic… but I understand what you’re saying… not sure why it’s not coming out.

Maybe try pushing the clutch in to get the fluid pressure to pop it out might be a little messy though so have a rag ready.

Just keep yanking on it, but make sure you pull as straight as possible. Mine was stubborn too, I think it was the o-ring that was stuck..

Mine was like that too. I had to get a small screwdriver behind the metal lip and work it out a little, once it gets started it comes out a lot easier.
